The new forum titles have been implemented. They are as follows:
3000+ posts - Valakas
5000+ posts - Orator of Revelations
7500+ posts - Preacher of Doom
I have not entirely abandoned the idea of custom titles; if you've hit 5k and have an appropriate, unique, and preferably game-themed idea, PM me.
KariTR, Darraess, and EllieBelly - this change bumps you back down to Antharas. If you like, I will change your titles to Valakas Hatchling. Let me know if you'd prefer that.
Edit : And cool for the new titles. I like the idea of being Antharas longer. From the pics Valakas is a small bodied Dragon anyway. Sometimes, size matters.

Not that i ever did mind about titles or postcount, but as long as im given a choise i would prefer to be left as Antharas, i am not a hatchling of anything not even a dragons.
If ever custom tiltes are implemented, which i think is a wonderfull idea, i will then speak about this matter again.
The 2nd dragon to be added to Lineage 2, Valakas, differs from Antharas: where Antharas' wings were merely 1/4 its size, the wings of Valakas are gigantic with an incredible wingspan and will produce a far greater majestic apperance than Antharas' did.
Where Antharas was very slow due to its size but had incredibly powerful attacks, Valakas will use its smaller size and its wings more effectively to appear quicker. Valakas, especially, was designed through Chronicle 4's new monster AI to introduce a new level of ferocity not yet seen in any existing game by enabling various attack motions and presentation.
Battling with Valakas will enable the display of the wisdom of dragons far greater than those of human's that can be seen in novels.
Valakas can be found in the Brazier of the Gods located in the newly added Godad region. (The Brazier of Gods, like the Dragon Valley Caves, is a path one must get through to go to Valakas' Lair)

Sarge, Antharas was always my favour title so safe to say I am delighted with the change.
I have to say that Preacher of Doom is pretty ironic considering Doomsday posts are not permitted..will holders of this title get any dispensation?...otherwise the new titles are ok.
But Antharas is the original. The original anything deserves respect! Hence why LoTR's is still so popular, even though it isnt particularly well written...
It doesn't HAVE to be game related, I'd just prefer it, is all. So I'd prefer Court Jester over Forum Jester - I mean, we're on the forums, after all, putting it in the title seems kinda redundant.

Well we had Mighty FORUM Troll for so long I dont see the biggie. Jesters arent always clowns but youre too sharp for me to think of you as a jester and sides you already fulfil that role elswhere, no?

What I liked in MFT was the part of it where it was mocking the bearer by stating that his status had something to do with trolling techniques ( I won't disclose any of these don't worry) So it was in a part saying that the very status of MFT was to be relativised as being not totally Legit.

That ambiguity was pretty fine and will be hard to reproduce by other means.

Well, I am nothing if not self-deprecating. Aks my clanmates. In this case, I do not see the title of "fool" as derogatory.
And, yes, I believe the MFT title was definitely a back-handed compliment to the holder.

The problem I still see with your system for a custom title at 5000 : It's nothing of a constant system. You're not assured of a custom, you have to beg the CM for one... Because your title will have to meet with its approoval.
When somebody has hit that "continue" button 5000 different times, he should be able to choose his own title, all staying appropriate, of course... (You'll take close to one year to reach that kind of number, and you WORK here...).

But frankly, playing the pick and choose of words on a title is somewhat disrespectfull, unless some clown just asks to be given a title (no harm, SirE, was the way to go for ya, and 1000 posts beforehand. ROFL)
