So, a little late, but I wanted to share my experience at GenCon SoCal with everyone. We had a great time I think it was very successful. L2 had a full quarter of the booth 4 systems plus a laptop for us to GM from. We ran everyone on PTS with lvl 60s of various classes, mostly melee/archer as theyre simpler to use for rank newbies. Not that noobs were all we had we had a whole bunch of existing players come chat, PvP, and oooh over the +4 BoP on the Silver Ranger.  It was great to meet Galadronsboy, SashaTheSage, Stonespeaker, Center, and the folks from Erica that never post ;) plus everyone else whose forum names I didnt get or dont remember.
One of the super-fun things was that everything was so electrically charged that we had to ground ourselves on metal every few minutes, usually with nasty static shocks. I wanted to set up a target and scuff my way all the way down the aisle and try to blow it up, but never got the chance. Probably for the best. *sigh*
Our neighbors made me feel way inadequate the console game across from us was represented by a collection of gorgeous women in full camo. I felt sort of lame claiming to be Sarge in front of that crowd. I have resolved to hit the gym and go to E3 in full body paint as an orc tyrant consider yourselves warned.
The con wasnt too big, but we had lots of interest our systems were rarely empty. The PvP tournaments went very well 4 on 4 in the arenas, and while I dont remember all the winners off the top of my head, I know a tyrant won at least once. Orcs represent! We discovered a broad streak of viciousness in our marketing guy, who would jump on whenever a system was empty and proceed to taunt people into flagging on him although he usually lost, which peeved him a bit.
Overall, I had a great time, and look forward to seeing more of you the next time they let me out in public!

Ok, i'm done now.... I cann't help it when a person mentions Orcs :p
Sarge as Tyrant orc? Promiss to make a picture of that!
Good to hear that you spend more time promoting the game on conventions. To bad, you didnt take the opportunity to visit some European events (I had hoped to meet you in Germany (Essen) a few months ago). But we immediately bought the Lineage2 boardgame that was presented there. :D

That would have been me.
It was very nice to meet you Sarge, Tisirin and Kragg.
I have to say hanging out at the NC booth, was the highlight of the day. :D

Hey now...you're SARGE. You could've broken any of those perky, little dancing twigs over your knee without a second thought! *RAWR*
Body type or not, if Sarge could make realistic armor I would be impressed. ^_^ Talk about months of work.
The pvp winner was a friend from my clan on hindemith. Konklaive. :) He doesn't have internet access at the moment, but as soon as he does I'll point him here.
