Sorry if this has been posted before, obvously this clan is problem. If your not familiar this clan they like to harass anybody that belongs to a clan. If your solo they gang up and kill you then call you stupid and laugh over a lame victory that you had no chance at. they use the adavantage of numbers and levels to force clans to fight them and pick on members that are solo. I'm sure they enjoy the attention so much that they continue their lame PvP tactics. buncha Zergers is the term I like. I know theres alotta IC haters out there, your not alone and dont let them intimidate you because they have to pk you with a dozen people, if it takes that many to pk me then I must be pretty threatening then or their just incompentant that they can't do their pking alone.
Don't bother with a GM either, cause we all know what the answer is on that. "It just part of the game" which it is, but still wrong. Interested on gathering forces? pm me

why should my clan have to detag? we have alliances, but we'd like more help on this IC issue, I was simply getting a voice out to those who dont have help that want it or desire to join forces against morons like IC. Sounds like someone's feeling a little tension from being killed in-game. =[ What do you expect IC to do? Come across you in an open field and wait for you to call all your friends? Why bother? You obviously don't PvP often. Sorry, but that's how it goes end game. You get caught by an opposing clan by yourself - you get owned. IC didn't invent this "technique".

I work 6 days a week, 10-12 hours a day and I get one day off with my boyfriend (I'm female). At level 55 I have all top gear and weapon for my class. I think I'm doing my best here with what time I have in game. Being pked by a group of players level 65+ isn't right. I'm one person against several players, I think its a bit hard to take them all on while paralyzed or stunned while 3 players beat on you while you can't move. Probably shouldn't have bothered asking anyone here anyways. I got flamed for trying to see if annyone was interested in killing Anthras awhile back too. Problem with Kain is nooone trusts anyone so its hard to do anything as a server. Killing Anthras is old news now, but then it hadn't been done on US servers. I was told I was a moron..go figure.

Anyone who wanted to try or was interested. there were players that were 60+ then even and more. Anything you ask about on this forum is flamed. Its not a surprise this board is dead. You were asking about Antharas back when PDA was just PDA and were at war with their current alliance. People want to talk about a "zerg," they need to take a look PDA's way. While it's dying out now, that alliance was huge. At the time you asked it just wasn't conceivable to bring some of these clans together. Even in retrospect I don't think it could've been done. I know what you're thinking, "Well, it was done a couple months later! What gives?" Time heals some wounds, I suppose, but the server was just too chaotic. Not to mention you don't have any standing in the server.
Suggesting to kill Antharas and then organizing it is like setting up flags on the siege field - only a clan leader can do it.
Not to be mean, but think about it, some lowbie comes shouting "Let's go kill Antharas!" Everyone's thinking, okay, sure, but you're staying here. You were dreamin'. To this day you can't form an alliance to go kill Antharas. It comes down to credibility.
*shurgs* I had clans and people with levels backing me at the time, we thought we'd try to round up players that were interested and see what kind of numbers we could pull. If had the interest and numbers we'd have tried. I used to think 55 was high..not anymore when theres players 75+ ready to hit Hero and have done their subclass quests. Like IC, PDA is dyeing out and so will IC eventually. The members of that clan will get tired of not gaining levels because of pking, they can never play solo, always in large parties. After awhile noone will want them in their clan or it won't be easy for them. Maybe I am wrong on this theory, but I have this feeling that sooner or later it'll come back to them. I would also think that after awhile not many moer people would want to join a clan like IC..I personally wouldn't.

My favorite is the alliance named carebear that doesn't expect to be griefed because of that name. If someone wanted to level to 75 without any conflicts or pvp, why choose L2? I don't get it.

Everytime I see the phenomena of a new post on the official Kain forum I'm compelled to read it. It's like Haley's comet; I don't really give a [censored] about it, but it pops up so rarely I take a peek anyway.
Well over half of IC just quit the game! So...who the hell cares.
Most of what they said was bull anyway. Yeah, they cheated...but not the whole clan. Sure some use 3rd party help, but it isn't everybody...and they like the attention for being the scum of kain.
Really, there is no more IC! So it dosen't matter.
The Conflict was already formed and is being disbanded as well. Most of the core members are quitting the game. There won't be any more remakes; not by real IC, anyway. Mortania wants to make a clan, but it won't be related to IC.

Well, I have to agree with you on many points against IC. Simply put, I hate them wholeheartedly and would like to turn the server against them and many other Clans/Alliances like them. I do have to commend them and the similar Clans/Alliances for taking one of the main points of the game and using it to their advantages. They are VERY well organized and keep themselves outfitted with the best and have placed ownership on the server and many areas within it. I by no means have anything against their tactics since they have obviously taken them far but their griefing can be taken too far since most other weaker Clans and untagged individuals are their targets. Once we unite and 'cleanse' the server of them and the like we can rest a bit easier. However, one thing is a fact on Kain. The 'bad' guys always seem to win. It's the survival of the fittest. Until we rise against them enmasse and eradicate the thorn in our side then we will have to live with whatever 'they' deem as the way the server should be run. They are the mafia that everyone hides from and/or pays their dues unfortunately :(

This is one of the main reasons I like to remain clanless. If your in a clan you have to worry about having your clan suddenly declare war on someone and than suddenly you have to watch your back everywhere you go or you get killed. I mean, I can tell how later on that would be kinda interesting as a game experience, but for those of us who just started and want to be able to just explore the map a little that would really start getting annoying.
Although here is my general opinion from what I've read.
I both agree and disagree with killing lone players when you have a group. I agree because in real war, if you see a lone enemy soldier and you have a group behind you I dont think your going to wait around and let him get reinforcements before you attack, your going to blast him and move on. On the other hand I disagree because this is a game and its slightly less lethal letting an enemy clan member go. And there are going to be people in the opposing clan who really just joined the clan for the benefits and association. So while I understand the strategy behind it, I disagree because a lone member is not a threat and its not like killing him outside a mass clan battle is going to help at all.
Also, if the rumors are correct, I really disagree with making fun of people and pushing them around when you killing them. Especially if you attacked them with a group obviously larger than the enemy. It dosent display any maturity, it dosent make you look better, it dosent do anything aside from displaying a severe lack of maturity in thinking your better than the enemy because you could gang up on an obviously weaker enemy.
The point is a shift of roleplay. you have to have the bully on the block, and you have to have the kid the bully doesnt like.
the kid that eventually beats up the bully. they play there roles. if the kid that beats the bully up leaves the bully eventually gets lazy, and unleashes his harassement over the server. he doesnt care what looks good or bad.
the next part is think of a predator. it doesnt care what it eats it just does. a good environment is having a large abundance of prey, and one predator. the prey builds a defense against the predator, the predator begins to chose its prey more carefully. sooner or later, its a healthy system, a give or take of a win or lose situation, like any other habitat .well now that ic is gone, we have an overabundance of predators. just a bunch of peeps with over powered chars. the balance is off. id rather have one big fish in the pond, then little piranahs all over the place.
No actually Kain is just fine, and we have more members than the newer servers except for Teon. Even tho it says light Kain can hold more than lets say...Hidemith. So while urs says normal you have 2k members on and when ours says light we have 3k...it is just the server mechanics. Granted Those are not all active players playing at one time. Maybe about 650 - 800 are, but still comparied to the other server it would be about 450 - 600.
The only thing that sux is now there is a nobless zerg that pretty much can wipe out everyone else. But dead is far far away from what kain is. The only ppl that belive that are the ones that belived that IC was Kain. And without IC there is no kain.
I highly doubt that. Kain seems to be still running. I can still play, there are still people on it. Thus, its still going. We just have to wait for the next thing to happen.
