just wondering if someone is REALLY playing Roleplay, or just normal playstyle o_O
Cause theres nothing better to play roleplay in a roleplay game XD, without this stupid "10k plizzz" stuff.

i dont believe ive ever seen any RP clans on teon, perhaps the odd RP players but no clan... the suggestion of creating a RP clan is a good one, if u need a hand with setting it up, pm Einherjar ingame mate :)

i think i will create one, i wanted to do it anyway, just wanted to way till i have higher levels o_O (im only level 15 yet) but well doesnt matter :)i will register a clan today.
unless you want to settle with having max 10 members, no clan tag, no titles (clan lvl 0), i'd advise you to wait till you're higher level with making a clan. it cost a lot of adena and skill points to level a clan, and you'll have trouble getting skills. when you're higher level, you get more skill points, and you will suffer less from lack of skills. but i think it will be tough no matter what.

you know i mean, i want to play RP, like acting that im the char im playing there. im coming from Dark Elven Village, not from Germany. im Male, as you can see, so dont ask if male or female. i dont understand your weird slang "10 pliiiiiz?", and so on. this sucks XD i dont want to play like its a game, i want to play like its a world i go in for a while to have more fun and ignore the real world o_O like people does with pen and paper RPG.
i dont want to fight to raise my level and get EXP, only to become stronger, cause i have a goal. if people play like this, its so much fun.

Well, i'm working with this Seven Signs thing to try to get SP scrolls so that we can lv up the clan, but yes, we'll need to be more than 2 ppl for a real RP-clan :)

See, once again this is what we're talking about in some threads, all the nice and interesting features of this game are only accessible at high level, how are we supposed to get all these SP and all this adena if we want to lv up our clan ?
And what would be so wrong with a "newbie clan" that the game doesnt allow you to create and run one ?
I dont wanna grind for endless hours just to get to the point where this game is becoming interesting (and no i dont wanna ebay neither, but now i finally understand why this game is the fullest of bots & ebayers i've ever seen in my entire MMORPG career :p)
I don't think the developers actually thought you should be able to level a clan to 3 before you'd even hit 20. you start the clan at 0 (free) and get a number of features, which is enough for people just starting out. next, will you be complaining that you don't have a chance in hell to even think about completing the lvl 4 quest? sorry, it just annoys me, when people think they should be able to get everything right here, right now.
It's good you have ambition, but you will completely cripple yourself, if you try to level your clan up too early, regarding SP and adena. You have to think about gearing yourself up as well.

when i got 30.000 SP, iwill keep it, and everything over it is more my new skills. i dont have enough adena yet anyway soiwill just wait.
and i know how much work it is to level a clan up, we did it last year too.

well im a bit busy right now with the clan my main is in but when it cools down abit ill try to make the time to join up with you with an alt, probobly will make a new one for it.

No its not a hostile post (i've seen far worse), but here's the thing for me :
I really love the game, the graphics are so jaw-dropping, the UI is so classy, the PvP everywhere is such a great idea, the different classes are really interesting to play, the politics and everything, so i dont wanna quit.
BUT i'm realizing that these days i'm actually spending more time on these boards trying to figure out how great the game COULD be, than actually playing it :o
When i started to play, i had a reachable goal that was going for lv20 and facing the choice of the 1st class transfer : what would my character become ? What new cool visually-looking skills would he gain (i dont really care about the power of the skills) ? Would he now be accepted in a clan ? Could he create one of his own ? How could he take part in this Seven Signs thing ? And wow, now he can wear those cool D-grade armors and weapons, so lets try to find new higher-lv quests to make adena so he can buy it ! That was really exciting, there was so much new things to look for, and it took me about a month to get there, which was a perfect amount of time for me ! I wouldnt have been happy if it took me less time cos it would have seem too easy and thus less rewarding.
BUT now, i'm lv22, and because of the xp curve going down it seems that its gonna take forever before i can actually be confronted to these fun things again :(
I have a pretty full real life so i can only play about one hour or two per day, and i dont want this hour to be just grind grind grind so i would gain 10% xp, i mean, whats the point of playing then ?
Like i said, i dont wanna quit but i'm afraid that now i'm at the point where its really taking too long to go to the next fun step, the game is getting pretty much repetitive for me now...
I'll wait for Chronicle 4 of course, i'll give it a try for a good month, but as it seems that the main features of this new Chronicle are mainly aimed at very high-lv korean-style playing guys, i might just be moving on to another game that could give me some fun even if i dont have endless hours to spend in it :confused:

It seems like you have the right attitude. Too bad you don't have the hours to put in. But there are people just like you, who just play in the little time they have. Granted, they don't get levels very fast, but they enjoy the time they have to play. I'm sure once you get your RP clan started, you will enjoy the game more, as (I think) this is the aspect you're really looking for. Don't look at the high level content, and think you'll never get there. Explore the land of Aden, and enjoy what they have made for your level range. This may be really sucky advice lol, but I did my best :p I hate to lose new players, who aren't complete morons, even though, in my opinion, Teon is way too crowded.
there are RPG Clans since Teon started in 2004 ;)
For example my Clan Takeda is a DarkElven RPG Clan which tries to establish the Drow (DarkElves) culture of other RPG`s into l2. The Clan still exists and grows today. :)
So you it is possible to create a RPG Clan, but you need alot of time, especially the choise of Members is a long way, because you cannot take the normal "counterstrike playstyle member" like they overwhelm Teon. You need the special RPG playersm that are rare in LineAge2. For us as a Drow RPG Clan it has been even more harder to grow because we looked for:
1.) RPG Gamers
2.) only Drows for the Main Clan and Orcs and Dwarfes for our Sub "Slave" Clan
3.) a german speaking player (why german, because rp is very very hard if not all speak english very well, so we decided to take the language that most of our friends speak)
But even under this circumstances it has been possible to create such a clan. :)
So keep up your eyes and stay with you aims ! I think you will get a good RPG Clan sooner or later, which will bring much fun for you and your members :)

Well, now that i figured out how hard it is to lv up a clan, i would've loved to join yours (me and Kihaku are Dark Elves), specially since you said "Drow", i guess we have the exact same references :p, but i dont speak one single word of German, so, too bad... :(

Drow is the Dungeon & Dragons term for Dark Elves basically.
Female dominated society with males mainly being their slaves etc (used to roleplay one in dicebased-D&D a while back).
Basically hated/feared by most other races (humans, normal elves and so on) if I remember correctly.
Well, Kihaku has gone for a German Clan, but I created a RP Clan called the Shillien Empire, dont hesitate to check it out and meet me ingame ! :D
(btw, i'm thinking of opening the Clan to all races, not only Dark Elves, as long as they accept Shillien as their mistress :p)

Ok, so now, thanx to a VERY good deal i found in Ancient Adena (i guess i'm starting to grasp this awful economic system after all :p), the Shillien Empire is now a lv3 Clan, with the little icon and everything !!!!
We also decided to wecome everyone, from every race, and not only Dark Elves !
