Quicksilver PvP Strider Race!

Seeing as how the coming of C4 has kind of slowed the server down, I thought this would be a perfect time to do this event.
(Been thinking about doing this for a long time. So here it is)

Clan Quicksilver will be hosting a Strider Race.

Who
Anyone who registers with a Strider!

When
Feb: 5, Saturday 3:00pm Pacific! (Sunday 9am for Oz)

Where
Gludin near the Church! (Don’t forget your strider!)

To enter the race you must sign up for the race by,..

Or Mail Silversun the following info.

(You don’t need a Clan to enter but will want one at the end of the race ^_^)

Everyone who has confirmed their attendance will race following the ROAD, you can cheat and cut corners at your own risk but you CAN NOT Scroll of Escape or Teleport with Gatekeepers, Party Return etc...

Quicksilver will have lots of untagged newbie characters along the race track, marking people as they pass. So if you cut corners and miss getting marked you will not be able to finish the race CUT CORNERS AT RISK OF LOSING THE RACE.

First registered rider to enter the Coliseum wins First Prize

After you have entered the Coliseum you MUST stay on your strider and in the PvP area.
At this time your clan and friends may come to your side to protect you and kill any other clans/people to protect the rider. Last registered strider standing will win Second Prize.


Clan Quicksilver is by no means rich, but the members have scrapped together enough to make this a worth while event for the winners.

Lastly!

During the Race we encourage clans and players to PvP, PK and Ambush the riders,
Riders are NOT allowed to dismount their strider.

First Prize: Full BlueWolf Light Set (Race winner)
Second Prize: Full Black Ore Jewelry (Coliseum Strider Derby Winner)

Post any questions you have about the race here. Do not harass QS members in game.

These are events that are polished after trial and errors :) I don't have a Strider, but good luck anyway, may you have success (mmh, someone should organize ingame bets :p "the quicksilver gambling syndicate" :))

First official Quicksilver PvP Strider Race

Congratulations to “Bloodash” of Epoch for dominating the Race phase and entering the coliseum first to win the full Blue Wolf Light Set.

And well done “Drakcus” of Core for dominating the derby and taking over the coliseum splitting his Black Ore Jewelry prizes with a few of his clan mates.

Though entries were low they got right into the spirit of the race and made for a very entertaining run. When C4 hits get a strider up and running, and in the months to come Quicksilver will attempt to run a second PvP race.

That orc stunned the hell out of me. Don't know why he picked on me all the time when I was coming in 3rd. I had him taken care of at Oren though (heh heh heh). Ty Quicksilver for the race, but I don't think my wind will race another time seeing as how twilights get a speed boost in C4.

actually LOL I had everything planned out EXCEPT the fact my computer would lag at EVERY Area that I entered.. that really screwed me up haha. As for Magnieon stunning you You should of herd vent, god Drackus he had it in for you but GOD where the heck did Tido2 come from ROFL?!?!

Tido was bored so I let him in on all the fun. After the orc went purple it was time for his bad karma from stunning to catch up to him. I told him to leave me alone, but he found out why the hard way. God bless ya Tido ^_^.

that race sounds like it was a riot!...just imagine how much more griefing and all there would have been if it was more ppl participating :P....gratz on a successful event QS

:D yea it was really fun i still wish QS members coulda been in it :eek: i woulda wonnnn lol :D i cheered the racers as they ran by congrats on the winners and everyone who came :p everyone start lvling striders up!! maybe when i get my draconic bow.... i might put my bow up for the prize :D neveerr know :)
