Lineage 2 Music Addon

It think it would be great if NCsoft did for L2 what NCsoft/ArenaNet did for Guild Wars, which is use Direct Song to release a music Addon.

For those that don't know about it, DirectSong, a third party company, with the help of ArenaNet/NCSoft, released a couple of Musics Addon.

Basically it's longuer versions of the songs already in the game and some new songs, all in high quality. They are in MP3 so you can listen to them outside of the game but they also replace the normal songs in the game for the new better versions.

And the nice thing is that the cost for the packs was really low. I personnally bought them for Guild Wars and it was a really nice addition to my game.

I think it would be a nice addition to L2 to be able to buy some nicer and more orchestral music.

That would be cool, sometimes ill leave the login screen up while im reading or cleaning and just listen to that for a while hehe

I've bought all those GW addons and play them when I'm in a "heroic mood" :D

I've just thought about something.

You used to be able to directly listen to the music files in the L2 directory, but now you can't. Could it mean that NCsoft is planning to sell the songs with DirectSong? It would kind of make sence since NCsoft is already a partner of DirectSong.

Naaa, I'm probably just imagining things... :o

By the way (Sovrath might like to know that), DirectSong sell the Soundtrack of Morrowind now. I think it's good thing that they start to have more game.

I think you have a good point by the way. That is a perfect reason why people can't play them anymore. Especially if they create longer versions of the L2 selections.

I own the entire Directsong for Guildwars and i must say it gives the game more depth and inspiration in battles, it would be a nice idea to implement Directsong to L2 so plz NCSoft consider it for the players ;)
