Dunno about you guys but I would love to see for once those of us who have had our accounts from the very beginning or at least all the players at least one time transfer to a different server. As it sits those of us on Kain, Seighardt, and Bartz are pretty much stuck due to lack of servers at the time. To me this would be nice to us who have been here the longest and originally wanted to be on different servers, the chance to do so.
On a personal note Im a roleplayer yet Im stuck on the griefer server. Talk about miserable situations there.
I know kain does have many griefers, but there are roleplayers too. I do it often with many many members of my clans and some really good friends!
But if server transfers are what floats your boat then I can't really argue, but remember many of those greifers can move too. I really hate greifers but I guess it is part of the game so I just try to incorporate them into my RP enviroment...like the evil scum that crawls the earth type of thing.
haha I would love to have a server transfer :) then i could bring my 35 orc monk with all his riches over to gustin...and all my other billion alts haha well at least i can say I have top d on every server now:P
roleplayers are getting harder and harder to find, let alone know cause the moment we start to rp we are hunted down and called carebears lol.
Nevermind the fact that I rp an elf who follows shilens old ways as well as has been known to slaughter humans elves dwarves orcs and yes the occasional dark elf who claims they follow the matriarch. Darian + matriarch = death to matriarch for betrayals.
game design wise yes. RP wise nowadays yes since those that trained me in the art of dual sword fighting are how shall I put it. Extinct thanks to the second matriarch, who fell to Darian's hands much like other six. Why don't they just leave the vassal of shilen alone?

What any game company should do is when the game goes live, they should make one an Official "unofficial" roleplay server so the roleplay community can find each other.
Granted, one can roleplay on any server. In addition, "official" roleplay servers are always full of people shouting (and I've got to say this ****** me off to no end) Where is the quest for "x". Or, "I can't find 'Green Ghouash' and I need to kill him for a quest", etc.
Why does this piss me off? Because on a roleplay server you are supposed to be roleplaying. But I rarely see this. I even once saw a person shout "what does "roleplay server" mean?
So enforcing such a thing is next to impossible.
Now, am I a roleplayer? No.. not at all. But I like roleplayers a lot (good roleplayers) because they take the game seriously but in a "good" way.
Then of course you have the people who are essentially using the game as their own "online sex adventure". Fine with me.. far be it for me to stand in the way of people "enjoying" themselves. But after a while I feel they should just get a room.
I never shouted asking for quest info. Now if I came accross a player and asked them roleplay wise like this.
"Allo. Mayhap you are able to help me for a second. Ive been given the task of collecting a bounty. I would greatly appreciate any information to the most recent location of (mob)."
Some rpers reply in the same tone, other players chuckle for a moment then get into it. Then some lead me there. But I never ask in shouts. However emotions I do put in shouts, such as my own battlecry.
