im gonna make a dagger alt. i dont like darkelfes and they dont have fakedeath i believe... so pw or th is whats left.
i know how TH owns in group with full buffs and all, but im planning on doing some soloing with him, as i like solo specially in earlyer lvls. Pw is appealing because of the higher base dex, and fast runspeed, and has skills such as selfbuffs and heals.
my question is.. can i solo a TH to a decent lvl at a decent speed, or would a PW be supperior in soloing because of the heals/buffs
self buffs doesn't mean so much (focus/Dw/haste are you best friends). self heal is an ok in case you wish to save a bit from potions.
generally PW lacks the hitting punch (and passives), you can't solo w/ PW w/o buffs in your 50's. Usually aden is full w/ SEs so getting buffs there is not a real issue (MDT works quite well too).
You can solo around aden till 59 lvl or so.
Actually I avoid to solo w/o buffs w/ TH. AW seems the best soloer w/ hex/drains.
Self heal consumes too much mana to be real useful, you will end up using potions anyway.
i know its hard to give a real answer on the matter as its personal taste.. and i know the only thing PW got going for them really is more base dex and fast run speed :P in that way th seems way better with the higher con, more statpoints to play with.. crit dmg and chance passive and the same cool moves fake death n silent walk... he wont be high lvl fast so blinding blow dont really appeal to me and i doubt it`ll make a difference
anyway.. i`ll still love to have some THs and PW give their oppinions.i suck at making choices so all help is welcomed
So, you really like the fake death thing, eh? Well, you'd prolly be better off just making a Bounty Hunter and carrying a dagger around. Best of both worlds IMO... LOL
Though, honestly, I had a TH on a diff. server than my current one. I loved the TH in so many ways. It does have the highest attack speed, due to its passive skills I believe. But, I always envied the Abyss Walker. Hell, they could have their fake death for all I cared. Drain health, hex, and poison are priceless, especially since the daggers now lack the PvP finess they once had. Those skills combined are what can still make the AW a deadly foe.
I'm giving you 4 stars for your post, I truly like to see someone rolling a melee (and a currently unpopular one at that), not rerolling from a melee.
I love when people roll daggers even when everyone else just yells NUKER NUKER ARCHER ARCHER NOOOB NOOB YOU CHOSE A DAGGER HAHAHA NERF. Because I can't really tell you the experience between the three, I suggest picking whichever you like more, or whichever you feel is cooler.

but i couldnt care less who was uber. i normally play nukers in games, but i even stopped playing my nuker because people were calling me a reroller when i didnt even know what it ment :P
i know melee "sux" in alot of cases hehe for pvp that is. but i aint planning on pvping him alot, well its not his main purpose. i just like how daggers play, chance and positioning blablabla who cares :P
still dont know which to take :P i dont want a AW so you really cant convince me to make it :p
PW is more versatile at higher levels for pvp (17 more run speed, 3 more evasion/accuracy, entangle are relevant things over TH for pvp and self buffs for olympiad obviously). TH is better for pve - crit power, attack speed, elf 107 physical stats vs 113 human physical stats which can be pretty well spent on pumping up str and dex, trick, veil, higher patk and basically same crit rate. In the end it really boils down to stat setup and gear. I'm PW on PTS and 75 TH on retail.
ok ... if i just wanna mind my own busness and kill mobs fast, get to 40 decently fast, hurt :P(dunno if PW really hits as soft as they say) but also stand my own to most normal classes ( non overpowered ones :P) would TH suit me better ? or do i need the pw to hit 40 fast or stand a chance against some classes
TH special moves (not including bleed) do roughly about 25% more damage after lv 72 (last level of critical power passive), normal hits and normal critical hits doesn't have so big damage difference. For pvp with TH atleast you'd want to get dagger w/ mm and change stats -str +dex +con which aint good for pve obviously.
also just thought about the super evasion of a pw :p
will that be noticable against mobs ? or will both the th and pw be hit alot or non at all in pve ? because if pw evades ALOT more, if they evade, then it might be way better for solo :o
but th also gets the crit chance passive, and can also trow lots in dex without really be hurting, would that really still be way weaker the nthe pw in solo ability ?
Since rolling a dagger is no loger connected to rolling the "best", I 'd go PW. They're much more rare than TH's, plus you get the highest running speed in the game. A TH would be better for pve tho, all the zillions of bots are th's, they must know something.
i aint rolling to be special, im rolling one to have fun :P so... i wouldnt care if i was a clone. i just wnana be a cool dagger and to me thats hit hard fast crit and... if possible evade :P
the only thing i see different is TH hits harder PW runs harder and has some buffs hehe. but for me its often harder when they arent that different :/ so im in trouble
