Yup well done all. MUCH better than last time (which was Hindemith's first successful attempt).

Last time 3 hours +
This time just over 2 hours.

Still can't beat the time put down by Legend/Storm. That's somewhat understandable thought...Storm has a LOT of Spellhowlers and Legend has a lot of numbers, including nukers. Epoch is actually pretty short on high lvl SH...

Anyway...good to see Antharas quickly becoming a raid boss done BY the players, FOR the players. No way will he ever become botted and farmed like the rest of the bosses :)

Your kidding right? The farmers can do it. Korea killed Antharas in 25 minutes with an attack force of 70~ Spellhowlers. Guess what class the raid boss farmers use for raids? Your going to cry when u see a sell shop with 4 of the antharas jewelry pieces selling in giran.

Eh, it doesn't really matter to me how long it took all of you to do it, because as far as I'm concerned it is one hell of an accomplishment to kill Antharas regardless of how long it took. You've been able to take him down twice now, and that is one hell of a feat. Congrats everyone :D

if it hapends all we need is ppl buffing him and giving % rez. and there will be no beating of antharas.

EDIT: we might even get more drops of the farmers then the killing of him :)

9 clans, 2 hours. Undefeated against the big guy. 2 for 2. c4 will make it a bit harder i have heard.

well with everyone getting higher and getting better gear, antha would kinda be easy if he stayed same lvl and same difficulty in c4

Yep, debuffs will no longer work on him. So no more slow or scourge, surrender or gloom or whatever.

Yes, l2center translated patch notes say:

The extra-large boss monsters, Antharas, Valakas, all can no longer be affected by debuffs.

So Epoch etc. may very well have done the last "easy" Antharas raid :)

I was gonna go with let Sultan always take aggro and use scroll rez...but hey that works too.
