Dusk vs. Dawn - What the *piep*?

Hey,

why is noone playing Dusk? It seems like, doesnt matter which server, everyone is playing Dawn. Isnt that super boring then if youz always win? Wheres the fun?

Why dont you guys just split 50/50?
I would love to play Dusk but theres no reason since it always loose. So i HAVE to play Dawn, if i dont want to loose all the time.

Well clans that have castles ALWAYS are Dawn.This means that their allys also are Dawn.Well since all the high and mighty clans with the most players that play the most time every day play Dawn.Now HOW exactly will you make more seal stones to beat them?Also they need AA for their sets(bigger clans make bigger partys in cata/necro for AA).They also have tons of adena they dont need-so just go and buy 500k+++ sealstones from all those bots in cata/necro and here you go-you can shift the entire balance just buying from them!

if you were a castle lord, then ur whole ally/clan wud be dawn default, vut say u lost ur castle, then the best thing wud be to sign up for dusk, as it cripples castle lords abilities to hire mercs for defence, nerfs castle wall/door defences and abilitiy to fly a wyvern as castle lord.

so it mite happen, on sum servers dusk wins all the time over dawn.

well i never saw dusk winning on a server, i mean yu can check it on the website, and dawn is always winning.

All castle owning alliances (and their supporters) will always be dawn. The scattered clans and clanless players can not possibly beat that.

yeah i know what Kihaku means, thats why i chose it (but actually only cause i like the name and its something i would like to have XD)

well im not giving up actually.. i will join for dusk anyway. but well i dont know, i wish it would be more like 50:50 for dusk and dawn, so its more interesting.

My heart is dusk but I join dawn because i need pet rez scrolls ;) and my ally owned a castle so i am stuck being dawn <even if my soul is dusk> i have no choise :(

I wouldn't say that.. But this server seems rather passive to me. If you look at the current status on Hindemith, Dusk is actually leading.

People just go dawn because they want access to BS and merchant, but if every non-castle owner clan/alliance band together, it is possible for dusk to win. If everyone participates it will weaken castle defences greatly and make sieges actually interesting for a change. :p

I'm sure almost everyone has an alt they can sign up for dawn (but not turn in seal stones), just in case, so they still have access to mammon..

I think I read somewhere, that someone actually ninja'ed dusk - and usually dawn wins on hinde too. pretty hilarious :D

All bots join dawn to always win and be able to farm in catas during reward week too.

This is where someone could do some real roleplaying. The Revolutionary Army of Dusk is exactly as it is called. It is supposed to bring down the castles and shake stuff up.

So my best advice to you would be to play Dawn, gather strength, untill such time as you can get enough Wolves in Sheep's clothing to want their own castle and then all in the "Dusk alliance" to stop playing for Dawn and put all their effort to Dusk.

If you were to some way able to tip the balance in favor of Dusk and get the third and most important seal. You could then greatly diminish the power of the castles. Lay seige to them and perhaps shift the power balance in Teon for a time. That is untill the previous castle owners do the same thing. And so on and so forth...

The idea of dusk vs dawn as such is not bad .... the excution by NC Soft is on the other hand bad. Why let everyone join dawn even if they have no affiliation with castle owners ... the whole idea of letting the castle owning ally´s "battle" against the non castle owning ally´s and clan´s are great, and it would add something extra.

But as it is, the OP is right when he says its quite boring and has failed, since everyone just plays dawn and the only thing that happens is that if you are not castle owner ally, you just pay 50k to the NPC every other week and thats it.

Selling Dawn Certificates for 18k, buy from me, dont give the money to the NPC ;) Currently around 1k Certificates in stock, I just love Dawn winning >.>
