has anyone else seen this stuff happen ? someone must have bc the light circles will shurley kill us all if they are not stoped! will chuck norris save us or will a new hero arrive and turn out the lights!!!
I get white rings, double white rings, blue rings, blue tempests/ tornados ( huge ), small red rings, large 'flame' rings, and sometimes a combination of them making it hard for me to see.
I know how to make them... it does have something to do with casting spells... but for some reason, only certain people are able to do it. I used to think it was just me... but other people can see them too.
wow, Im glad to see this popped up. I saw this on the PTS, it was these huge hazy red rings eminating from some people PvPing just inside my visual range. Thought maybe it was a sweet new skills, but its just a bug? interesting
it happens with a lot of things, BD dances, SWS Songs, Spells, Buffs, pretty much anything with color effects it seems. Its REALLY annoying in catacombs, because the glows in there are ugly anyways.
that was in bmp formate i need to load it on photodshop and save it as a bigger one latter just you need to see the ring thats all i was showing not the text or anything.
It's a HUGE whitish swirly circle of light around one player for two or three seconds, and there does not seem to be any kind of special "condition" as to when it happens (can suddenly happen when all you do is walk around on the stairs in TOI). So disregard that there is a mob in the middle of that pic, it also happens without mobs around.
My party started seeing this last night. Only one or two of us could see it at a time and it would last for about two minutes. It always followed the same person around (when he moved, the ring moved with him). It had something to do with the BD dances, because as they started to wear off, the ring would begin to fade and would disappear altogether when the dance was gone. Very annoying!
btw. I once started seeing that ring when party member (EE) started casting Battle Heal manytimes are row. (~10)
First ring started fading visible but EE just stopped casting more healings and ring faded away as fast it faded to visible.

I've noticed this too, it seems to happen frequently when spells are "spammed" I got it quite a few times while fishing and a mob attacked afterwords I spammed battle heal and got these huge rings. Has happened with other spells but bh is the one I remember happening the most.
These are the results of the "energy" expulsed from my Uni Boxer's behind due to the introduction of pet ss.. poor thing it's kinda hard to digest them.
They are part of the new Servitor skill: farting rings of explosion.
yeah I've seen them to at the arena, depending on where I stood and where my camera was facing, these giant yellow/orangish ring of light would appear and float around. @o@
Its a graphical bug (unless its a feature...xaen?) that displays a character's range with skills. So it normally appears around mages casting offensive skills. If you notice, the range of the circle will be exactly equal to the range of the skills the player at the center is using.
