Critical Damage SA

Does anyone know how this SA is calculated?
I've been mucking around with SAs for low C weapons and I've currently got a katana (patk 122) with critical damage. The description of the SA reads:

"Increases patk by 194 during a critical"

So theoretically the dmg calculation should be something like:
(Patk + 194) * 70 * 2 (soul shot) * 2 (for crit) / target pdef

For me if i did a critical for 300+ before the SA (268 patk, target pdef 230) I should critical for 500+ after .. but what I found was that a critical only does 350-400.

I think the SA description should read:
"Increases weapon patk to 194 during a critical"
because thats what it feels like.

Any clue on this dissapointing SA?
The SA increases weapon PAtk, not your total PAtk. So while I agree that the SA description should be amended, it's working fine. Since your total PAtk isn't just base+weapon but also includes masteries, you won't see a steady increase.

It is best used on high-DEX classes since they crit more naturally (or those with +5DEX and armor bonuses). And you'll see a greater effect the higher your level, because of the masteries etc.
Thank you kindly, have some stars :)

So really the SA description for critical damage should read:

"increases weapon patk to (x) during a critical hit, if you don't have +5 dex tats or song of hunter don't bother"
LOL I like it =)
Actually i dont agree with what has been said.

The CD effect is pretty much like a raised level of death whisper. It doesnt multiply with it, it adds up. So during a crit atk ur personal p.atk is doubled. Then the Crit Dmg adds 200, possibly DW adds 200 more and then if u have crit dance it adds another 3-400.

Im more of a fan of focus SA's as they just are more useful. I'd rather have the crits occur more than havin m be a little stronger, especially in groups when u have BD buffs. Imagine the Empower SA, it adds 130ish matk, but if that were to be a on the weapon itself, u know how bad that nuker would **** other ppl. It always adds to personal stats.
