All was nice and happy (sorta) till last sunday.
Leveling in Worshippers Necropolis, 7200 on Lili Magus, around 6000 on the Decay Pickerman and around 5000 on the Vault Priest (approssimate figures).
Was managing to "clean" 2 big rooms and 1 small.
Not huge xp, but a steady flow.
Now that we have this "weird week" (the catacombs are empty, no seven signs), where can I go with my two ladies for some quality time?
I was poking the nose a bit north Ivory tower. Mass of Ol something for 3K a shot. The mage type is 6K, but the risk is too big of mass link.
Ancient battleground has groups of 7-10 mobs, but light red or deep red. Didn't poke them to avoid having my butt(s) served back to me on a silver plate.
Any advice would be great.
On a side note, and in reference to a previous post about B armor for my SE (again, in combo with the BD):
I got a Doom Light, and having not SP on Light Armour I was thinking to got an advantage on Cast Speed, PAtk Speed and P Def. (Description on the skill). Well, after going from 1 to 20something the only stats to increase was P Def (529 >> 553). Any explanation why that?
I was thinking that an increase on cast speed would sort of compensate the 15% loss for not using BW robe. And that lack of cast speed costed the rears of the couple in more then one occasion........

Normal cast/attack/recovery speed is what you would consider very slow. Due to the passive skills "Magician's Movement", "Spellcraft", and "Mana Recovery", however, all mystics are accustomed to sharply increased rates while in robes. The mystic "Light Armor Mastery" emulates these skills for light armor as well, and comes very close to the robe bonuses, making it a very worthwhile trade unless you need a larger MP pool. Only the first level of Light Armor Mastery has these effects, though--after that, it's just additional PDef for each level beyond the first--the bonus will never build to the point that it eclipses robe speed, as the sole skill "Light Armor Mastery" is not greater than the three basic mystic passives.
EV sounds good. Deeper in Devil's Island (have a dagger friend unlock the doors for you) might work well too - that's nice and quiet, to boost. There's also Forsaken Plains and the Cemetary.
yea, at lvl 50-52 or so 1st floor of EV is nice, and after that 2nd floor is awesome.. that will bring you close to lvl60 up there. friggin anoying books tho...they are heavy :(
Had a look at Forsaken Plains and the Cemetary, mobs are either too packed together or/and give 4K even being deep red. I had a look also in the Giants Cave, south of devastated castle, again....too risky for the xp rewards.
Then went (again) to Enchanted Valley. Being there before and filled 3 mules with books. Second florr (on the top, in the middle of the map) there are the "elder" version of satyrs, Unicorns (each time I kill one my heart sunk....) and Trees.
Yes, that is the place. More the 7K a hit, and relatively easy.
And that's also the reason why the place was a mad house, completly packed. Will go there while you NAs are sleeping^^.
Regarding the Light armor doubt I had, that's explain a lots. Only the first level of the skills give the cast speed bonus. And I was convinced that was proportional to your skill level. A bit unlogical, but if this is the way intended.....patience.
I wonder if at A grade is not better to revert to Majestic Robe....or Robes in general.

As always, many thanks in advance.
If you want to wear light armor go with BW light as it has +15% casting speed bonus. It is still slower then robes, but not by much.
Now where to lvl... Maybe outside the entrance to antharas Lair(DVC/AL) would be a good spot. Also Around Forsaken Plains, Forbidden Gateway would be good spots.
You're looking at your experience wrong - it doesn't matter how much each mob gives you, but how much you run across a certain time. Mobs in the forsaken plains and at the cemetary give lower experience rewards because they have 'ordinary' HP. Experience in EV only is higher per hit because you have to hit a mob twice as long until it dies.
This does save running time between mobs, but the difference is less than you perceive.
Maline, I'm aware of that.
XP over time is the key. Doesn't matter if the mobs will give you 7K or 4K or even 1K. Agree.
On the other side, in the spots I visited either the mobes very too dangerous (strong attack, heavy loss of HP per mobs, nasty attacks), or were too many too packed together (not feasible for a duo), or not enough to "feed" the duo.
The best balance I've got was EV.
Catacombs and Necropolis are still the best, so far and in my experience.
Both starts to be pretty boring, btw.....grinding for xp is not fun.......
yea and btw, debuffs are way better when you fight x3 or x4 hp mobs... like hex, there is no point in casting hex on a x1 hp mob...and mana will drain to fast...on x4 mobs its awesome tho!
