yea dawn would only need 1 win one if there had more seal stones then dusk but.. its dusk that has more seal stones so ;)
How does Dusk have more seal stones? They won last cycle, so all those saved seal stones have been released as AA. You can tell by looking at the Record of the Seven Signs that Dawn has far more contributed seal stones. Dawn usually carries 400+ points in seal stones alone. This is why Dusk needs most, if not all (depending on which ones they win and the seal stone points), of the festivals in order to pull off a win. If Dawn can hold two of the festivals (preferably the higher level ones), Dusk cannot win.
Great competition these last 2 days. Was quite fun to do the festivals again and see all the other's active as well. Kudos to all the dawnies constantly attempting the festivals. I hope you had as much fun as we did. Big thanks to the several non divines that helped out in our festivals.. couldn't have done some of them w/o your support.
Also want to give a hats off to my clannies that fought until the last minute. Unfortunatley we lost this battle but they fought like lions and everone helped in anyway they could from making supply runs, lending gear, cheering us on or w/e needed they were there.
Also wanted to mention great scores all around. i saw many new top scores being posted and parties attempting. Was fun just to sit back and watch some of them in between breaks.
Yes it was a fun festival. The main advantage I had on the 53- was I had so many people to work from. For hours I kept working to make the perfect party. All level 52-53, all in B armor, some with Overenchanted weapons and all damage dealers were nukers. If Dusk were to pull the same kind of group we might of seen some better scores from them. Kudos to Dusk for getting 3500 with mixed damage dealers... but with a Red BoP to offset alot of the balance :P
P.S. Hell I kept leveling and having to die by guards in aden and come back to try again ;P

That was amazing by the way Vent, way to go. ^^ I loved watching the 53- Dawn festivals besides Titans No limit festival. Was fun.
And yea, over-enchanted items do hlep alot, even in the 31- too as its cheaper to over enchanted D grade even if it fails. :) I know I had fun using my alts +5 light crossbow for those festivals hehe. ^^
Yeah OE weapons really do help, when they are on the right class 0.o.. hehe as it turns out my 49 pr had a higher patk than chiasa's dwarf using his red bop, but **** he could take a beating. Was quite tough to do that 53 group though i'll have to admit. I was pulling my hair out waiting for people to log on hehe. But yeah, everytime i looked over at the dawn festivals, i saw people forming parties and doing festivals which was awesome.
we were racing the clock at the end =(. Our goto guy just logged on right as we entered for the last festival. Might have made the difference...guess we'll see next time =) But yeah.. some of those scores you put up for the 64 and unlimited i was amazed at.. awesome scores, wasn't sure if we could beat it or not until we tried.
I had a blast just watching and being on standby. Was truly the most fun I've had in sometime since starting Lineage. I too, will enjoy my debuffs.....this round.......until next time!!!
Grats to all who played and Dawnies for giving us our run for the festivals.

The whole server should be thanking vent and his uber group for saving you all from the debuffs. Like we said at the beginning, all it took was one festival. I really enjoyed the festivals and thanks for the competition.
However, my heart is sad as once again the bots will be running free in the cats/ necros for another 2 weeks. I tried to hunt an alt in apostates during the competition week, and couldn't find an open room, until a Legend sws or sr came and trained them for me. Sucks :/
on one side I like that players get to compete with eachother, That 1 ally can win over the whole server, and that bots can't be 100% sure what side to go and get shafted if they choose wrong. BUT...
on the other hand hunting @ high lvl there is not a great range of places to go Lair/TOI/cats,necros and part of me feels it suck when people cant use these and have to fight for space on TOI, oh well rock on the new C4 areas :p
(glad we won but sad Devine cant join us in the necros )
Thanks for this great competition. Looking forward for the next cycle :)
It was awesome, It was great week, and I was on the edge of my seat for EVERY festival.
I would like to give Kodoos to vent and his group with that festival that was just so hard to beat it was the one thing that saved dawn thats for sure.
I would also like to thank Divine for allowing the Leviathan clan + Pascal to help out with the festivals along side them, we had a blast. Alot of my members have never been in a festival and you helped them with that experience, thanks again.

lol well, i heard that redguards went dusk, so +1 for the good guys :p
TY Divine for stepping up to the task. I think this makes you the first major alliance to switch back to the side you're supposed to be on. I find it funny because I guarantee you could be Dawn if you sieged certain castles. You're actually making a choice to lead the fight for Dusk...way to be the underdogs. You gotta love the underdog (unless it's the Browns).
OutLawz were the first too. Divine comes in second.
you can think of that both ways, back when Outlawz tried, non castle owning clans actually thought they stood a chance. This is the first attempt since everyone reverted to dawn. Not to mention 2 weeks ago was a successful attempt.
Very true Vent. There was also an Alliance of mid to high levels called The Order at the time who had alot to do with it. They took 2-3 festivals with their groups.

The system has had EVERYONE going Dawn for months. Dusk still had significant seal stones back when: Outlaws took it once after 2 weeks, failed the next time as more people went dawn, tried again later (wishes he had ss of festival score report for dusk) failed, and now finally months and months later Divine laid a knock out punch. Did you see that no limit score? It was outstanding. This is where you pay respect to the people doing the task.

I guess some people forget their roots.
We didn't do it to be first. We did it to level crystals. Mission accomplished. We also put up server record breaking scores (at least one). I am not kissing our own [censored], as we still lost overall. You can just thank the farmers amassed seal stones for the easy victory, or...*don't do it ivy*...get off yer lazy azz and go do a festival on the side you belong on. Then i will pay attention to the naysayers o the dawn side.
I'd love to see the contest become a contest again. I think the cost to join Dawn after 40 should be increased to 100k. This might help balance the numbers a bit, making the seven signs competition more fair and less of an exploit.
It may be true that the farmers have a lot of control over the outcome, but I don't see an easy solution to that. If the number of regular players shifts to dusk, then the farmers may have to actually choose a side as well, hopefully bringing a little more balance and bringing back the competition.
