Im not sure if this was Posted or not, but here goes.....
why the hell is so hard to lev at 55+, is like %5 per day.
Not all of us are home all days, some one us have job and stuff.
On top of the lev wall, wen you die at this lev you really die. Is like 5 day of leaving for nothing. come on whast that all about.
So it take me one week to get 25% but pray to god you dont make a mistake and die trying, 5% or 2% lost at this lev is a lot for someone like me. on top of all that you have to wach out for punks droping mobs on your char and drop some B grade armor. Come on whats going on here, or Im doing something wrong?
If NCSOFT want to slow my playing down to get my 15buck is cool guys, if i lev a char to lev55, im going to be here for sometime. I just think this wall is to much.:(
I was still managing 2.5% a buff round at 65, it all stopped 66+ tho lol, you're doing something wrong, soloing the wrong mobs or just plain getting in horrible groups.
My advice to you is start finding other aspects of the game to enjoy, besides gaining levels. At some point, for others its 50, 55, 60, etc, it just becomes too hard to focus on your % exp and your level. Just find parties, enjoy the game, and sooner or later you'll lvl up.
at first i thought "what 5% a day at 55 you suck" then i noticed you played a dorf
as most dorfs know we also have to deal with dorf lvl walls, where there are no effective mobs to hunt
55 is a bad one
i suggest you try hunting at forsaken plains but the spoils there might be bad
Forsaken plains is indeed a very good place to lvl a dwarf, if you have the "kalis magic coin" quest active. It takes 220 of each normal coin to open, but it more than pays for itself. at 55 you'll make a small profit, but by 58 it will be a blast. I saved up enough money through this quest to attempt an elysian.. and I'm holding it now =).
I went 53-60 in EV, hunting all the Elders (Satyr, Unicorn, Leile, Fline, Valley Treant). Get a buffer (preferably a Prophet, since we don't do enough damage to benefit from VR much) and you'll do fine. Just don't take on two Unicorn Elders until you're 58+ :p
It all depends on a persons play time too, as well as class. I can usually do 3 hours a night, sometimes 4, but not every night. It was completely normal for me as a bishop, since it's so hard to get groups to walk away with 5% in 3 hours. Or get maybe 15% a week. Despite what people say, bishops can't exactly solo without wasting time, money, and risk death. (solo solo I mean , not solo with SE :P)
You're not getting much xp - at level 63 on my SK I would get almost 3% every 20 minutes. I remember my xp at 55 was around 5% every 20 minutes. I grind on pink and white mobs and use healing potions and solo. The worst so far was level 61-62 that was painful, 62-63 was a cake walk compaired to that and my equipment pretty much stayed the same.
LOL at 55 Wifes dwarf had a lance and BW armour, with an SE she could pole pats or Ascetics duo -9 con FTW and now she is lvl 70 with a 1100p.att with a blunt, Dwarfs are not hard to lvl at all
As for walls this game is supost to be hard and take you ages it keeps the interest up, if it was easy we would all quit after a few months of being 75 on all 3 subs
My advice get a pole get VR from a friendly SE that wants to party with you or even a WC+Healer and go pole some of the catas or necros its easy xp and fast.
If you think 55 is bad you are in trouble because it gets much much worse my main is 73 and i get about 1% an hour so max 2% and thats in a full party in a good spot
acording to the link above i only need another 110mil xp yay lol / mobs @8k XP = 10,375 monsters to kill yay.
Hehehe, don't knock someone for only getting 5% XP per day. Somedays my XP goes down instead of up :P all progress is good. Everyone must remember before speaking, while some classes may lvl quickly, or if you happen to have a buffer nearby, or in party sure can get XP quickly, but a dwarf soloing without buffs is a long slow process.
