I get the game to run up to login screen, but I get to the login screen and it will just sit there. I enter al my info and password hit Enter an noting happens, even when I press on enter to connect to the server selection screen. Nothing happens what-so-ever. Support tell me to undated my video card but I know this not the problem. Ill update the video car as soon as a get home tonight. Can some with this problem help me. C4 is coming and I would like to play it.
So, what changed? I take it this isn't your first time playing the game.
Have you tried a DNS flush? You said you disabled your firewall. Have you tried just readding lineage to it? Have you tried removing the gameguard folder? Have you tried doing a full file check?

Noting happed, I reinstall lineage. I wanted to clean some space on my hard drive. So I still Lineage on my 2nd hard drive ( slave ). So I move the lineage folder to my C:drive from my D:drive. an now i can play :(
Yeah, but when the problem began I reinstall lineage and delete the old one from all the drivers. so is like staring from crash. But now I have this problem.
So the game was originally installed on your D drive then you moved the folder to your C drive, did you just do a copy so you had an install on both drives at that time?
Then you removed the game from your C or D drive? Did you use the add/remove control panel from windows?
Well all i can say is you had the game installed on one hard drive and then started moving it around...Installing and removing which broke the game.
I would say you have to remove all aspects of the game every where on the hard drives and in the registry and reinstall the game on a hard drive and don't be moving it again.
But be warned if you make a mistake in the registry, you can mess up windows.
Dude, make sure you de-active your virus scanner from the entire subdirectory that Lineage is installed to, also if you have any anti-spyware stuff, you need to exclude the lineage 2 directory also.
I had the same problem once, turned out to be my virus scanner wasn't fast enough when Lineage creaded/ updated a file in there, so it just hung.
I just wanted to mention that I install lineage by just copying the lineage directory around (I didn’t want to wait for the patches lol - I never ran the install on my dual box computer). I also setup dual instance (so I can triple box with my roommates account if I feel like going crazy) by copying my lineage directory from the C to the E drive.
Everything has always worked fine for me, so I don't think your problem has something to do with an improper uninstall.
Ps. Sorry I don’t have any advice but I didn’t want you troubleshooting something that probably isn’t it.
edit: Sorry to contradict you Splatter, you usually offer great advice and normally not using the proper uninstall causes major problems. However, lineage2 seems to be an exception.
That is unless he has issues with incorrect registry settings or what i was thinking was he had the game installed on his D drive then moved it to his C drive... But did he update the firewall rules in the process?
Anyways, i'm just trying to get an understanding or picture of what he did... As thats how i work ;)
I fix it last night, but i think is back with C4. I know C4 is till down right now. But i tray to log in to the game an only make it to the login screen. I hope is not back :(
I was playing last night before C4 was installed, but now when I try to login into the game, i can put my username and password but it doesnt do anything either. i havent changed anything except for patching lineage II.
and ya i have the same coppy of l2 i had back in OB on my pc its moved about 2o times and ive formated the pc when ever youi move it it just does a full check then ya go i dontthink its too registrey intenceive
