GameGuard (http://eng.nprotect.com/nprotect_gameguard.htm) is a program designed by nProtect specifically for security issues relating to Massively Multiplayer Online games. The main function of GameGuard is to create a shell around the Lineage II client that prevents third party applications from interacting with it. It is a high priority of NCsoft to do our utmost to protect our players and our servers from cheats, hacks, and the like.
