l2day scrolls - this ever happened to anyone else?

I activated an emp scroll today whihc lasted a full 7 minutes before its effect wore off ^^

Considering it cost me 550k and I'd activated for a purpose, I was pretty [censored] off and gmed. I was between mobs when it went, and didn't even realise til a couple of mobs later (as in why am I 3 shotting these when it should be 2?). GM didn't come back to me, even tho they had 90 minutes b4 shutdown. Is this an isolated incident, or has this happened to anyone before? I've used lots of scrolls in the past, and first I've heard of it :( I want another scroll as compensation - GM are u listening?

Were you hunting anything that can debuff, link in the catacombs. If so, it doesn't matter what you used to get the buff on you, if the debuff lands, it is gone.

I was hunting at FG, doing the snake scales quest for the millionth time ><

Didn't know that about the debuff, but considering my cast speed/damage, I'd doubt a trive woulda got anything off on me - besides, as I said, I wasn't fighting when the buffs went (I had a greater magic haste/greater haste active too, and they all went together, no warning [flashing icons])

You got debuffed. If they all went together with no warning, surely that's the case. I've been debuffed by the Trives before, and it's always when I take on multiple Trives. As I'm killing one, the 2nd one will cancel me.

Nothing in FG cancels (at least it has never happened to me, and I was there for quite a few levels). Are you at war with anyone currently? Do they have any sps or sorcs that can have cancelled you?

The Trives do cancel. I have been cancelled several times in the last few weeks.

Seriously though, the trives die in two nukes, so this may have been the reason I have never been cancelled - though several of them have been aggroed simultaneusly several times, so in theory it should have happened at least once. I spoke too soon. Sorry.

Yes, that reminds me of that archer, that was farming FG for a long time already, claiming Trives do not sleep.. :p

lol, if it makes you feel any better, I/my "SH summon" have been stunned many times in FG, sometimes VERY close to death. :p
