installing c4 and updating

Question, I just downloaden c4 and installed in on my computer. When I start l2 it is gonna update the same files I just installed. Is this realy necessary to do??? I think it is a bit strange to download the same files I just installed with the L2_C4_Installer.

Can someone pls explain how a normal install must be done, i'm realy noob with this so thx for the help. Maby there is a noobie quide or something. Pls help cause i realy want to start playing c4.

If I start the game from "\Lineage II\system\L2" I can loggin, but when I select a server is says "you have been disconected from server please quit and try it again". This mean my account is working but somehow I can't loggin to a server.

The live servers are not yet C4,that could be your problem.So if you installed C4,it will patch back to C3..The live servers will be updated to C4 later today.

any idea what time they c4 server go live??

I find it rather funny that even after downloading the full install, I still have to update and download more files. Not that it's going to stop me from playing or anything, but shouldn't a complete install (at least on release) contain all the files that will be used at launch? :p
