Hi. I want to ask if there is a formula that determinates the drop rate by mob depent of how many members participate in a party hunt and their lvls.
I am 40 lvl SK and had party with a SO 33 lvl at Grandis (death pass). I notice that we havent enought drops. When a 35 lvl Monk join our party the quantity of drops (always from Grandis) where increased.
We must party only same lvl chars in order to gain the optimum drop rate? Thnks !
That should have been a simply case of subjectivity or bad luck.
The number of party members has no influence on the chance or ammount or worth of drops or spoils.
Neither does the presence of a dwarf change anything on the drop chances, altough I wish it would be the case.
The group bonus is placed on exp and the drops get more cause you are killing more mobs in shorter time, not cause the same mob drops more.
Thnks for your answer. Maybe i wasnt clear enought. I am not waiting more drops from the specific mobs. The drop rate is constant. I just say that when i hunt white or green mobs at soloing i have bigger chance of drop. Now when in party the mob is white to me, light red for 2nd party mate and deep red for 3rd...is that chance the same? What if the mob were green for all 3 party mates? In that case would we have better chance for drop? Thnks again:)
Remember that the drop/spoil chance is effected according to the character THAT GIVES THE FINAL BLOW.
So combined with the fact that the best drop chance is when the mobs are green/white to the one killing/spoiling the mob, the combination of the party(and who does the final blow) will result in different drop chances.
e.g. lets say a spoiler in a party spoils light red mobs, but the mob is green to the other player, then the spoil chance wil be low as the spoilers skill isent actually good enough for light red mobs.
Lets say a party of two players where the mobs are light blue for player one and white for player two, then the drop will be best if player two does the final blow/killing the mob.
I even think the drop chances are lower for mobs that are yellow/light red/red then the one which are white/green to the one doing the final blow.
I believe I remember a statement, of this being changed from "last hit" to "most damage" due to excessive abuse of high level players stinging or poisioing a mob that was dark blue for them and then have their low lvl buddy kill the mob for full loot/spoil reward.

Looted Kitten
I 2nd that.
I just finished Leveling up some small chars (my buffer,
a friends buffer, and so on) and there was absolutely no
difference compared to soloing, except my XP/SP beeing
lower than before
Though I'd have loved to be the lvl 52 Mage that delivers
the final blow to the Mobs in ABG while AOEing there...
Just get to know the mobs HP, get high levels to use their
skills to get the mobs life low and finally a little poison cloud
wait some seconds and BAM mass-drops for everyone?
(and you all do know that there are even some 'cheater' that
can exactly tell how much HP the mobs got left)
