No prophet has more buffs than every other class, but prophet doesnt have all "buffs". There are 8+- support classes and almost every class has their class specific unique buff. And bladedancer and swordsinger have only class specific unique "buffs". but they stack with proph buffs
if Dance of Fury raises attack speed and Prophet's buff called haste or zerk raises attack speed too, and you are buffed with both haste and dance of fury your attack speed will be raised by both buffs, i hope its understandable
One more question though: I know the prophet has nineteen buffs total. I believe that is the most of any class. So, coupled with a cleric's buffs, how many (for those of you who have significant expereince with a prophet) total will the prophet end up having??
Why do you say zerk is useless in c4? Silver rangers are going to be scarier with zerk than before because of the extra run speed boost. They can run into range, shoot you, and be gone before you can twitch. Well I guess I'm thinking about this as an archer....ahhh time to unmothball the archer.
I don't get why the number of buffs are so important to you, it's a non-issue. What is important is WHAT buff is available. The Prophet has 20+ buffs (20 + the C3 resist buffs I think but resist buffs do NOT stack so probably maxes out at 20 anyway) but as you can only have 20 buffs, songs, dances and so on on a character in total - you will never use them all at once anyway... heck there's no mana to do that in a party either.
The warcryer has most of the "feature" buffs of a Prophet, the SE a bit less so but most anyway (crit related buffs in particular) - and the EE looses out a bit by focusing more on defense and therefore lacking most offensive buffs. However, a warcryer, though a group buffer and lacking wind walk, also has combat ability which the others sorely lack, which could be worth thinking about for a sec.
