C4 Full Installer Game Client CORRUPT

Check your Files - all the full installers for Chronicle 4 [2.3G] availble from Lineage2.com and also from FilePlanet are both corrupted..
you cant extract them.. dont waste your bandwith on any of these files-- they are corrupted..

It worked perfectly fine for me, so I don't know what your issue might be. Unstable internet connection? Download accellerator? Browser issues?

By the way, are you using Winzip? Try WinRAR, that's what I'm using and I had no problem.

i cant extract data2.cab but i did use a accelerator, guess i`ll do the pts converter anyway :p

I had the same problem when downloading the PTS full client, 2 times. Was corrupted.

Yup, i had the same problem, but i dont think its a curruption issue. I think it may have something to do with trying to unzip it in the same main directory where there is already a L2 folder? I dont know.

Lets compare

I have the PTS on one hard drive, and Live on a 2nd. I downloaded the full C4 client onto the same drive as the C3 Live. When i go to un-zip or run the Setup.exe it crashes.
What is happening to the rest of you guys that cant get it unzipped?

Same thing happened to me. I'm using WinRAR to extract. I downloaded the file using 2 methods. HTTP through IE6 and FTP through Core FTP Lite. Both times, the file was corrupted. Sounds like others are working fine, so the only thing I can think of is some of the packets getting lost in the chain of downloading.

i'M using WINRAR. and i don'T even see the stup.exe file
i only have the stepu.isn one.
can't extract either of them saying they are related together or that they are corrupted

same problem here , dl'd it from official site and when i tried to extract it its saying its corrupted =/

i had no problem but a clannie did the problem lies in the extraction programs we had no problems when every one used windows xp compressed (zipped) folders utility use that wont have a problem

what is this windows xp compression program your talking about
want to try it =)

ok just found it
right click the rar file
then do open with ---> compressed files
you will see alot more files than only with winrar
the setup.exe is there
have fun

Nope, that didn't work for me. It's corrupted for me, as well.

90% its not corupt try the windowes compression that comes with xp i havent heard of it failing make sure no oither programs useing it as well

the windows decompression utility failed for me the other on the data 2.cab as wel.. oh well redownload and try again

Sometimes large size downloads/extractions can cause problems. If you use Get Right to download it and 7-zip to extract it you should have no problems. Get right also allows you to use segmented downloading, allowing you to speed it up significantly.

Heres another utility that might work if your zip file is corrupted. This utility will try to fix corrupted zip files.

same thing here...used winrar first time...then the xp compressed files...same thing...so i'm doing the update from the login...****it...i wanted to played right away today :(

Ugh, ive got the same problem... I cant stand it! My internets plenty fast to game but when it comes to dling, i dont get more than 40kb/s... last night before i hit bed, i started the dl hoping to play C4 when i got home from school the next day. Got home afraid too see the file still dling, or my pc turned off or sumthing, but YES! its DONE! so i go to my computer, check my folders, find the file, open it and CORRUPTED. Took me a while to find this topic, and i try all the ideas, and NONE WORK (T_T) looks like i get the joy of waiting till tommorow..........................

Well look on the brightside, atleast you can dl it live from the update menu when you start the game in no time if you have such good BW, my mom decided to renew our worthless DSL even tho i told here id pay for cable if we got it... but no... had to renew snail pace dsl... i mean its sad when you think dialup isnt half bad compared to it

and now, i have to wait another 16-20 hours, which means i wont be able to play until some time around 10am when i have to be in school (ive skipped too many times to get away with it again...)

why!? why is the stupid file corrupt! i mean... WHY!? :confused:

Dont feel bad, i think i screwed myself too. The PTS Conversation patch is taking alot longer then some other people are saying, i think i grabbed the wrong .exe . Having 4 Lineage folders = bad.

Oh well

but now i cant play C4 today, i was so looking forward to jumping on my ally chat and screaming SEE FOUR!!!!!!!!!!! and enjoying fishing and all that...

instead... i sit here and sulk and wait for something i wont get to use till about 24 hours from now...
