Can't move/target/chat/accept trade/accept party

Hi following problem:

SINCE C4:
When i Scroll of Escape or teleport (via gatekeeper) to another town, i can't move / target / chat or anything else anymore. Everyone else is running and chatting around me, so i didn't disconnect, since i see what others are doing.

If my char is at another spot then in town i can move and everything is fine...

It CAN'T be:

- my router (since i don't have a router)
- my firewall (since it sometimes works)

After trying about 27 times to login and move my char, it ones happend that i were able to move two steps, but then again same problem again!

Please help me! If it's an answer from a player or an answer from nc, i don't care the only thing i do care about is that i can't move!

Ok after 30 times login in i managed to move!!!! but guess what after i ported to giran game over... Can't move again (nor target nor chat)... Basicly it's like i dced, but i didn't since everyone else is moving and chatting..

You are not alone... i have a thread going concerning this same problem. Except I dont' have to use any SOE because I can't even get that far :)

Have the same problem aswell. So far it only happens when i enter giran and at random places.

Was almost always when teleporting/soe to Giran. and only in Giran. Any driver updates/full check didnt help

didnt checked in C4 for long btw.

Solved after installing current nforce drivers (if you are not using nforce network adapter - this solution does not apply, but maybe also possible).

Yes, the same bug in C4 too.
I have ATI Radeon videocard and installed the latest drivers recently but it didnt help.

Just curious if it possible to SOLVE this 4-month old bug ?

/trying to login in Giran for 25 time already in a row with the same trouble.

I've had good luck with getting unstuck by holding down my up arrow key on the keyboard right after I press the start button from the character selection screen. Just click on start then keep that arrow button held down until the game finishes to load. Other than that you have to get on another toon and pation a GM to move your character out of town.

just sounds like game lag.. especially in giran
