I must be dumb or something but im only getting live to PTS conversion when i click the link.....how do i do PTS to live? I cant find it anywhere only live to PTS :(

I bought the CDs. I have installed the Chronicle 4. Now when I go to the update screen, it's uploaded all kinds of files... what is up with that? Shouldn't it be absolutely current? It's taking a long time too.

whoa, wouldn't that be some crap? I would think that U.S. laws would prohibit that. Fraud or something; especially through the mail. They might have not had a chance to add the last few updates but I'd bet that you got the most up to date version that existed at the time it was shipped.
It is a load of crap. I spent $9.99 plus another 10 bucks for shipping only to have it error out on the 2nd disc during install. The discs are useless and once again, NCSoft has found a way to rip us off.

This conversion file worked splendidly for me.
I ran across another link that took me to a different download.
This conversion should be much less than 1 megabyte, and only involve one file replaced.
Patching took about as long as getting a soda from the kitchen, but I had to reset the connection once. If you have PTS already, this procedure rocks.

I also bought the disks. I'm now up and running to two boxes with no problems. Whole process took less than an hour on each box. Sorry to hear you're having problems. Good Luck. :)

At the PTS Download page, the Live to PTS conversion is in the second large Blue box, and the PTS to Live conversion is in blue letters in the sentence just below that box. It isn't easy to notice.
Essentially, it has you copy your PTS folder, then copy/paste the .exe file into that folder. Running the .exe from the folder does a fairly quick patch and runs C4 on the live servers. You have to run it from that folder, but you can create a shortcut on your desktop.
It worked fine for me, after a bit of 'talking' to my firewall about permissions (as with all changed programs.) I haven't had the courage to overwrite the existing shortcut yet.
