bad lag

im getting lagspikes that make it just impossible to hunt. i live in europe.
i've had it since tonights update

Yes, since the update there is lag. My ping increased from 100ms to 300ms. But it is probably due to everybody downloading the new chronicle.

Yes, just looking at http://www.glop.org/lineage2/ very high rates.

But rest assured they know about it and working on it.

yes .... but i checked my ping status and after 8 hours is same. My ping grows from 107 ms before C4 to 336 ms after patch C4. I am living in midlle europe. Pls fix it or give me true answer. THX :-)

Hey.. do you want everyone to say "hey.. that sucks"? Because "yes" it does. But people click on the thread and if they can't add to it they just move on.

However.. I might be able to help in a small way.

When C3 hit, my lag spikes were so bad that I essentially gave up playing. I had noticed these lag spikes on the PTS and even reported them to support. However, as soon as C3 hit live I noticed that nothing changed.

When I returned after about 2 months (had to leave for some real life reasons and it didn't make sense to play when hunting was impossible) I noticed... the lag had gone!

I can't answer why but my guess is that whatever issues that NC was having were eventually taken care of.

Now.. I"ve noticed some of that lag this time as well. Not as bad but the game will be running very smooth and all of a sudden it will freeze.

I think the kinks will be worked out.
