I bought the C4 Cd off of the NCStore. I downloaded it and was told that once C4 goes live I won't have to download anything and should be good to go. Then why do I still get the patcher and It's downloading the whole thing like as if I just bought the game? Its like its downloading all the Chronices all over again? HELP!
no its taking forever, just like when i tryed to download c3 on my new pc. its not just a few files its all of them? yet i've all ready installed the c4 cd? wth?

Can I ask when you installed the CDs? I have heard that people who loaded the new CDs yesterday inadvertently reinstalled the C3 files over the new C4 files from the CDs.
I installed the new CDs early this morning on two boxes after deleting my old L2 folders on each one. The patching didn't take that long at all. Actually less than an hour for the whole process. If you installed them yesterday, uninstall them and reinstall them, it will save you time.
Going from C4-PTS to C4-live took seconds, so if you're doing major updates, there's definitely something wrong...either it's not the right CD, you're not installing to the right place, you overwrote your C4 with C3 and now it's going back to C4, or the CD doesn't work. Take your pick ;)
