Recently started again and had a question. This is regarding quest items that drop from monsters (for example wolf claws) as opposed to tangible items like mats. The last time I was playing, it seemed like if you were in a party and you were fighting monsters for quest items that you had to deliver the final blow in order to get the quest item. Has this changed? I think that as long as you helped in defeating the monster you should have an opportunity to receive the quest item. :confused:
It has changed on a few quests, but those are only some of the newer ones. When you look at the details in the quest log, you will notice a couple of little symbols. One either looks like a single person or two people. If it's a single person, you have to get the final blow. If it's two, you can do this in a party.
you can do both tipes in party, it's just for the "party type quests" you can just sitt back and relax. Or at least you dsont have to deal damage, you can jsut stick to healing or what ever.
Yeah..I might not have been clear enough. Both types of quests can be done in parties..you just only get credit for the kind with a single icon if you get the last blow.
