All kinds of events in this game for all players, or just new players. How about an event just for the people who have been here from the beginning. In otherwords, if your account has been active (without a single days break) since Prelude, then you get a special event, or maybe even just a simple gift. A thank you for sticking with NCSoft through good times and rough times.
Event: Could be a special dungeon that only "Old Timers" could get to.
Gift: The highest level character on the server gets a full set of Jewelry in the grade they represent.
There is not that many of us left. A little thank you would be appropriate.
Great something else to make the highest players even more rich or uber.
Come on all the higher lvl players already dominate most events. About time they did something that affects everyone equily and some more stuff for new players to take advantage of and hopefully keep them in game longer.
Ya this game is slowly leaving beginners in the dust anyways. I am surprised to see noobs on the boards from time to time. I wouldnt be surpised to see something like this in the feature but instead of checking accounts they will only allow 80+ players instead :)

Not even close to what I mean. Active account, in other words, account has not been terminated, then started back up later... perhaps by a different person.
As far as overpowering the UBER players... not even realistic. Most of the people who have played continuously since Prelude are NOT lvl 76 on 12 subclasses. They are like myself, have one or two characters in their 60's, and three or four in their 40-50's.
Besides, I would really like to know how many people have been in since BEFORE C1 launched and have NOT shut down their accounts for any amount of time.
i was here since open beta, but because of personal reasons i deactived my account 2 times, you wanna "punish" people for having a RL or financial problems ?
Yeah this would be completely unfair and discriminating agaisnt players who had to deactivate for personal reasons.
Ive been here since OB aswell and ive deactivated once or twice for financial reasons so why should i be any less of a commitment to nc than you?
No its a nice idea... but unethical and unbalanced. Both of these traits mean that NC are probably making plans for it right now... lol!
Nah ok that was harsh... they did give us the pumpkin event, that was balanced in the way that my level 19 mage sold off a whole bunch of level 10 crystals and made more money in a day than probably most lvl 75's.
They do try. Some games go completely unignored for updates at least we have some updates and events from ncsoft, bless them.

Making the event only for those who have not taken a break, is the only way of making sure you don't reward someone for purchasing an account that has been around forever. I am not accusing you of that, by no means... but those of us who have maintained our accounts, even with RL commitments, deserve some recognition for our efforts.
i dont aaggree witthe whole with out de actavateing but i would like to see some thing fore everyone whos account was created back on ob, prealude just have a event where everyone whos acct was made in tius tome getdss this this time gets this and so on dont check if it was ever deactavated just the creation date

there is no effort, maybe you were just lucky to be rich enough to keep on paying. you have in no way more commitment then i have. and as you say... not everything can be fair, so just giving a event for people whos account dates from open beta would be fair aswell ;)
Who needs to be rich to maintain there account for $15 a month? I actually save money by playing this game. It allows me to stay at home and not be bored to tears, where as, I would normally be hitting the clubs spending $50-75 a night.
Yes, some can't even afford that for extended periods of time, and there is the occassional car/house/gf repair expenses that PK's the Lin2 expenses. However, NCSoft hasn't gotten as much from those who took time off as those who didn't. So if they gave this to everyone who started their account in OB/Prelude and then took time off, it wouldn't be fair to those who continued to pay the monthly fee and didn't take time off.
so you still implying that you want your money to get you stuff ?? sounds Ebay like to me. the longest time my account was deactived was 3 days so i repeat... you didnt really commit more :P and i`ll gladly pay 1 dollar to pay for the 3 days i missed
well i don't like active since begining... maybe since i started like the 3rd day of retail... or maybe it's becuase i tend to forget when time is up... so i have a 1-2 vacation from the game...
perhaps a pumpkin type event that uses cronos...

I am still sticking firm to my belief and hope that when the final chornicle comes out those of us with all the Chrono items will be able to put them together to assemble the super ultra maga S++++ weapon able to one shot antharas!
You know how to tell when an event is balanced. When the market gets flooded with rewards from event items at all lvls in the game. Such as the pumpkin event.
Any event that is geared towards anyone it should be towards new players. If we can't atract and keep new players, within a year this game will be like the PTS every server will be full of lvl 78 players bored to death running around making the game horrible for lower lvl players and making them quit.

Have the ability to create an S grade weapon from all of the chronos. It would be like Voltrons with chronos.
