Is it worth it? I just got my palus knight to SK and I realize that doing a ton of damage isn't the SKs role, but how much Patk, wtc. do I loose from say +4con -4Str? I'd really love some more Con, but I'm not sure if I want it enough to sacrifice any Dex or Str.
Given that the SK is the most offensively-oriented tank, why would you want to reduce strength? Wouldn't it be better to just roll a more defensive tank if you wanted more defense and less offense?
It's actually very common that SKs go PLUS strength in expense of con. I was astounded first time I met one with this setup. But they tell me, that they don't lose all that much con with a -4 since DE con is low to begin with, and the strength they gain is very worth it. I wouldn't advice SKs with this setup to tank a raid boss though :x But even without minus con, this was never what they were meant to do anyway.
