I'm a hunter! Need help with Cybellin's quest

I'm trying to level up the blood crystal. I tried it on just the shamans and got it up to level 6 but then it broke. Is there any special way to get it up higher?

It's all chance. The rewards aren't that great unless changed and it's a pain in the bucket to do.

I was afraid of that. So basically enchanting it is like trying to over enchant a weapon or piece of armor. How about the other things with being a hunter? I been doing a lot of the missions as a hunter, most of the missions involve things I'm fighting anyways. I have 7 of these leaves things which show how many of the missions I completed.

Are these good to do? And how much more rewarding can they get on higher difficulties?

The rewards are crap, but hey, like you said since you're hunting in the same area or mobs, why not, even if the reward is a meager one, it's still a bit of extra income earned.

BTW you can turn in your crystal anywhere from level 1 to level 10. Of course the higher level crystals pay more but the payout is not that great. Most of your money will come from the mobs you kill and the drops.

As are the majority of the quests in L2, but that's neither here nor there and doesn't answer the OP's question.

If you're in the same area, might as well try it eh?

I did try it back in c2 and again now. I never managed to bring crystal past lvl 4. I am a TH, so at least dagger is a weapon I have masteries for. This was for plains of lizardmen...
You may try in 50s to go in FoM but still the reward plain sucks.
