tHX SO MUCH FOR THE LINK!!!
but ... i quote "Then you use the 'Fishing' Skill and your character will start to fish. "
Well, this is exactly the problem: i use the fiushing skill, having all the skills and the equipment required, but nothing happens!
What do i do wrong? *cry*
but that's what i did :(
I receive a message that says "fishing skill is used in unsuitable terms" or something, but i have it all: rod, lures, and skills, and obviously i am near water. So what's wrong?
First Equip your rod, then equip the shot, eg click on it, it should apper on the 'shield' slot, working just like arrows do except this dosnt auto equip.
Found some water where the breath meter excist, walk up then face the water, then use the Fish skill lv 1 it should work, the rest is in my guide.
Start with the noob bait (cheapest) because it gives a tutorial on fishing. Big hint is watch the movement of the fish bar and not the graphics. Good luck. One of my big plans was to fish a lot but the xp is so mad crazy it may be awhile before I start to fish.
Question about the rods... is it tied to the character's lvl with regards as to what you can use? So, for example, can a lvl 20 only use D grade and a lvl 40 use C grade etc?

Or is it just a designation for quality?
I view rod grade just like weapon grades... If you equip your level 20 D grade character with a non grade pole you aren't going to do the needed damage on the fish.
actualy, it doesent mather what rod you and what lvl you are. you can be lvl 65 and still use your NG rod, IF you expertise lvl is low. if you have a expertise lvl of 5 I would say that its time to get a D-grade rod, or use Nograde SS when you fishing. and btw, keep your reeling and pumpin 2 lvls abow the expertise for max efficiency.
