Just re-installed L2 and gona give it a shot again.
Its been updating for about 45 minutes, and the overall progress bar is still empty.

Anyone know how long it may take from a clean install? I'm running on cable btw.

Did you install from the C4 client on the website or did you install from the prelude retail CD that first came out when the game went retail?

I installed off some CD's I had laying around, they dont have any labeling on them, just lineage 2, the chaotic chronicle.

Should I just download the full client or whatever? and is this the correct page to do so?

oh and I just tried to download it there, its telling me its unavailable.

is there anywhere else to find it, and is it alot fasted dling the whole new client etc rather then patching?

The FTP servers are overloaded....

And i'm going to guess and say your installing from the prelude disks just like i have, so yes it would be far faster to just stop updating and remove Lineage.

Then go Here (http://www.fileplanet.com/Lineage2/) to download the C4 client or just keep on trying to get a spot on the Lineage FTP servers.

yes its a lot faster getting it from this website then the CDs try again to connect to d/l it from the website

I'm along the lines that when one goes to update anything they should remove the old content first. :)

heh yea

I may as well. I've got like 114 minutes to wait to start this download :X

I hate game updates :O If it wasent snowing at least I could do something constructive :(

yea

looks like alot of people gave up, its been 60 minutes, and now I only have 10 minutes left to wait :(

Then I have to download it all, then install it all. How lame :P
Oh well, if only I had my cd drive and all working last night I coulda let this all happen overnight lol.

I just tried the Lineage FTP servers and connected.... Give that a try

Well I got it going from the ftp finally, I'm averaging 370 kbps now which is pretty darn good :O

Maybe I will see the lights of the game tonight! :)

If by chance you have any issues connecting to the game, make sure you post about it.... I watch the fourms fairly close.

While you download, have you seen the stabby McStoo comics?
