But enough flowers, here comes the pot. I wish I could have gotten a L2 time card, so I could have given away a free code for a new player, but WTH !!!! No L2 timecards in sight.
The guy said he orders some, but never gets them. He oubviously knew what he was talking about, and was a city of villains player.
I finally walked away with a CoV card, but I just wish I could have gotten a L2 one...
Is it easy for you guys to find L2 time cards in your local gaming store(s) ?

The local Best Buy in my part of Memphis had 2 - now it has one, but they had no time cards with them; which is a bummer, I have a buddy that wants to try it but he's not willing to pay 60 bucks up front. Maybe in 2 months I'll find one with a time card or he will un-cheapen himself lol.

city of villians cards work for L2? my friend was saying it didnt work for him...
thus far, i've only used city of heroes cards. i saw 2 l2 cards, but the boxes were kinda beat up... so i went with the COH boxes.
Actually over here in germany, they do not sell L2 cards or CoV or CoH cards.
They just sell "GTC for NCsoft games" and they advertise them with the whole package of NCsoft games on the DvD box they sell them in. Surprisingly, the Guildwars logo is on that DvD-Box as well, altough it does not even cost any monthly payment ;)

It's not about using a credit card (dude, my card could buy you and then sell you at credit). Fact of the matter is, there is no real problem with transactions, the problem is with the quality of the security the companies keep this data.

Lol Dark, I think you missed the point on his post, it wasn't to use his CC, it was probably a joke along the lines of giving him your info so he could steal your account.
As for here, yeah the Best Buy's have stopped carrying L2 products, and I went on their website, and L2 is no longer listed as a product they carry (scary but most places I look no longer carries L2, was hoping with release of C4, the marketers would try to push product back to the shelves, but guess not) I have been wondering about the CoV cards as well. Might give them a try, they seem to be nicely priced.
And yeah I do agree with Germany. If the NC Game cards changed their pricing so all cards are same price, and if you can actually use any NC soft game card for any of their products, then why not make a generic NC Soft game card. I like it. The only thing I can see is some dumb#$# trying to sue NC becuase they saw all the games listed, and figured they could play all the games for a month for that price. I mean if you can sue and win over spilling coffee on yourself, anything is possible.

They had a fair amount of l2 game cards at my best buy the last time I was out...I got the one with the 14 day free thing, wanted to try dual boxing.I would give the 14day one away, buuuut I am the only person I know who plays l2....everyone else swears by WoW(If they admit to playing games :confused:), won't even try and ask me "are you still playing L2?" in one of those undertone voices like they are far supieor ;/ PK!PK!PK!PK!PK!PK!PK!PK!PK!
Usually a few of them always hanging around in Calgary, Canada. If not then just go for the CoH/CoV timecards. Heck, in my case if they have both, I always go for CoH timecards as they were $5 cheaper then L2's.
Where I am the Best Buy rarely has L2 timecards. Heck I even went and asked one of the kids working there if he knew where they were. He went to the computer typed in Lineage 2, Lineage II, Lineage ][, and several other variations of L2 and the computer couldnt even bring up the box game let alone game time cards. He didnt believe me that it really was a game I ended up taking him to the section where they had 1 game box left. So he took the game box and went back to the computer tried several more things and still never came up in the computer system...so then he told me someone must have brought that game box in from outside the store because as far as he could tell the computer doesnt even know what it is. Showed him the Best Buy retail tag on the box and he said he had no clue if its not in the data base he can't help me.
/golf clap to NC Soft for the great promotion their doing of the game and getting time cards out there for people to use.
And yeah, the majority of the game stores I have checked no longer show L2 as being an existing game, kinda like trying to find a copy of Castle Wolfenstein 3D. If nothing else, NC Soft should promote enough that people realize the game still exists. That can't be to much to ask.
