How do you cancel a fishing attempt. I have had moderate succes fishing, killed a few mobs. But in one of the attempts I was lagging badly, so by the time the mob was viewable on my screen, I had already clicked to fish again, which meant I had to spent the next minute just standing there getting beat the crap out of me :(
Is there any way to cancel a fishing attempt? or is that a hole in the fishing system?
Yeah just use fishing skill as mentioned above to cancel.
The bait is gone though too, so there really is no real reason to stop a fishing attempt.
Except for maybe the example mentioned above, or you are not in a safe zone so someone tries to attack you. Your best bet would be to stop fishing, and to start fighting.
Hahah, belive it of not...but I have actually died in town by a fishing mob...lol...when I fished him up on the Giran bridge.
