So someone has a brilliant idea to go check out the dimension rift. So we all port there. This is around 2pm on saturday afternoon. So we check it out then decide to port back. All of a sudden i crit error and get disconnected. When i relog i find myself at the dimension rift still. I try to use the npc to port out but nothing happens. I keep trying but still nothing....
Next I try to soe and /unstuck but it just ports me back to the middle of the dimension rift. So realizing that im stranded here, i petition in game and on the website. Earlier this morning I get an email saying that they are working on a solution, and they will contact me later. So now 30 hours after the original petition..... I'm still stuck here.
30 HOURS! NCSOFT can't even pass me a town SOE or just respawn me someone else?!?!!? I'm getting very impatient and already missed sieges this weekend and lots of other stuff.
So i'm just starting a thread on how long it takes until i get rescued... maybe even get a pool going or something.
It's been 30 hours now.... so if anyone is on Gustin server port to the dimension rift and come bs with me.
I dropped my clan and in 4 days now am going to join a castle owning clan and castle soe out of here if it actually goes that far. I really hope it doesn't resort to that.
My friend is stranted in Monster derby track the very same thing like you, he did petition to teh GM's they did respond, what htey did was an /unstuck on him, and he teleported to somewhere 'else' at the monster derby track still unable to leave it.
This have ben the case for 48+ hours alredy... and he havent got a responce from the support ticket since yesterday.
It's starting to become quite big absurb due the very pore service things like this should be fixed asap.

Yeah i have a friend working on getting me a town soe. But its just pretty sad that it has to come to this.
And being stuck at the monster track isn't NEARLY as bad as the dimension rift. At the track at least you can pvp, bet on the races, access your wh, and there are people around. All day today there were only 2 parties that came to the rift ... LOL.
Start an orc in orc town and you can get a Town Soe: Giran at level 5 I think (not sure). Then just port the toon or have a friend grab it from you. I found this on PTS so I'm not sure if this is for every level 5 toon you make just a noobie char.
Actually this is a good idea. Make a new character (any race) and talk to the gatekeeper for a quest (confirmed with human, DE) and you will get a SOE:Giran.
DE version of the quest is really easy, you don't need to leave the town even.
Dunno how to help out the guy stuck in the rift though...that's harsh :O
he mentioned he saw 2 partys comming by, so.. guess it aint a instance
Pity, I was hoping to find a farmer free environment to grind for a change.
The waiting area is not instanced, although IIRC the hunting area inside is...and based on how the place is set up, I doubt a farmer would survive very long.
Wasn't the dimension gap an instanced area? In fact the first and only area in Li2 so far? If so, no way somebody can bring you a scroll.

The Rift is intanced, but the folks who get stuck are stranded in the Oracle waiting area, which is not. The only way, so far, that they have reported getting out is by someone bringing a SoE-Town scroll to them.
This morning after leaving the computer on all night, they finally /unstuck me..... which didn't do anything. Finally after replying and telling them that it wouldn't work and sent them a video of how i was stuck, 8 hours later they relocated my character to Aden.
That makes the grand total of 46 HOURS LATER! Who had 46 hours?!?! I know i said 50.
Anyways what i am kinda mad about is how I missed sieges this weekend (one of which we lost), I was borrowing a friends Tallum Glaive and he was unable to use it for seiges also (being as i was stuck), I missed raiding this weekend, and straight up i missed the first weekend i had devoted to checking out the new C4 content.
Am i wrong for asking for some sort of compensation? I asked for a partial refund of this months fee's but the GM emailed me and said they won't do anything of the sort.
However i find it quite rediculous that we are paying each day to play this game, and after they leave me stranded there for 46 hours, they still refuse to refund me even 2 days worth of fees?? I know it wont amount to much but its the principle.
I know that when you rent a video game and take it home and it doesn't work or it freezes at a certain part all the time in the game, I call up the video store and they give me a refund.
Am I completely wrong about this? Or is there something wrong with this picture?

Read the EULA, NCSoft specifically states that they are not responsible for uptime/downtime or playability. And you click "agree" every time you log in. Sorry. :(
For those of you doing the rift a lot better go do the starter town quest and get yourself a town soe just in case. Hehe the only downside is that someone might decide that this is a bug and "fix" the town soe so it can't be used in the rift anymore.

A refund would not even cover a cup of coffee.
In principle, yes they should compensate with added game time for mistakes like this. But in the grand scheme of things, I'm guessin the OP would rather have the weekend back.
