Mine from C1 is still level 1 now, we delevel'd him and would bring him to cruma. There was a bug where if the pet picked up items in the party it all went to the pet owner. After about 30 minutes of this, the farmers would catch on, and yell at the wolf in chinese, then smack it with their fists. Being a level 1 wolf, he would die from getting hit once with a fist, farmer = red/pink, maenard would run around from behind the corner and gank the farmer.. full drops ftw.
<3 Maenard
Wolves are so 3 chronicles ago, baby tigers ftw :) mine's level 33.
Not more ?
I guess you dont know how much fun they can bring when they support you. Actually i wont miss my on my Paladin.
yes i knwo the fun of them dying me going back to town for a rez coming back can't find the [censored] ing thing with top gear on and losing it forever.

wolves ++++ :confused:
Roftl easy solution always was get a rez or more with you everytime u hunt with wolf.
With fun i mean u should see him with might focus DW doin fumors. Three crit hits and mob is dead and without it takes like 10 seconds while paladin is hitting too. Oh yes without ss for booth.
Gratz on the lvl 43 wolf Littebunny we should do a party sometime.
I had my lvl 37 wolf out in Gludin last month and there were two othe toons there that had high lvl wolves. One was in the 50's and the other had a lvl 64. On Gustin.
I like the babies as fishing buddies. helps me heal up between fishing out monsters. They are super cheap to keep out and if you keep blessed shots activated on them they actually do you some good
I remeber I wanted a pet and my friend had lent me his wolf. Well I have no idea anything about them... so I went afk for about 30mins or so. I was attacking that npc outside elven ruins. When I came bak it had ran away. I didnt know u had to feed it ><.
Then later I had a hatchling and I use to ninja loot drops all the time in parties. I gave the hatchling to friend of mine though.
Mizuken never realli had any pets though. Got a tiger the beginning of c4 but havent had the chance to go to a place it wont die everytime i pull it out.

Seems ur a person that know nothing.
A lvl 50 wolf has 288 patk with the top weapon that cost like 1,5 mil. His food cost a lot less too.
So now what has a lvl 50 hatch for patk ? with a 1,5 mil weapon a lot less and how much is the top weapon 10 mil or more ? Food cost also more.
The only hatch that will have same or a little more damage output then a wolf is the star hatchling now and only if he uses his magic. Then tell me how long you can use the magic till the Mana is used up and he has to hit like the other hatches ? Guess what very fast and then omg he does gimp damage.
Sure the wolf is weak to magic but hatches are not that much better.
To answer your question at least 4 ppl seem to care how high the wolfes are if u dont do who cares about ?
On a side note i have 3 wolfes and 3 hatches ( 2 wind 1 star ) and lvl up a hatch is so boring and they not even much usefull for support if u cant affort a good weapon for them.
Before talking like that try get your own wolf to 50 else ur the looser to me.
I agree,
I wish I didn't wait soo long to start one ... now I need to play catch up. I can't wait for the day where I can lvl my wolf and my main at the same time.
Mine is still lvling fast enough to make me happy. I can get a lvl 15 wolf 4%+ per kill and a lvl 40 wolf 0.4% per kill. In two days my wolf has looted a full Brig Helm drop, 3 Brig Helm Designs, enough mats that I crafted a Brig Shield, a full Kite Shield drop, and enough mats to craft another Kite Shield. Yeah... wolves are useless :P
The problem is my wolf is gonna pass me in levels soon. I have been using a spell howler to lvl it up. After that I will have to steal my wifes toon, an A Grade EE, or use my A Grade Destroyer. The only problem I see with my Destroyer is there is no sleep for crowd control, and no battle heal. My only hope is to keep aggro by hitting hard. If a social mob is near I am sure my wolf will get aggro.
If I ever hit 75 I am gonna sub a Battle Prophet to play with my wolf.
Actually gladiators arnt to to bad. Pull aggro mobs with your blaster so they wont switch to your pet right away, get a cheapy blunt to stun with (I used a Dwarven Mace), something that wont do tons of damage, but enough so that you can hold its aggro. Most of the time i solo leveled with mine though, i used a Dwarf, but its the same basic concept.
(Just to build on what L2Girl said) Just a quick reminder. Though some of ye may be afraid of it happening, it's ideal to have yer pets over yerself. Remember:
1. They require less exp then yerself to level
2. If they're higher level then ye, then whatever mobs yer hunting are probably lower then the wolf too - which means she'll survive a few more hits then normal. :D
Anyways - grats to all the pet keepers - lets pray for the day that NC makes them *permanent* pets that don't run away, gives them a bit of CP, and makes them PvP capable. ;)

Well, I have both a Star Hatch and a wolf. Yes the Star hatch is sweet when I can use the magic, but the MP burns through very quickly.
I've been seeding in EV with Paegan (my wolf) and its sweet. That extra 140 P.Atk is really handy. OK, so I have to alter my hunting habits a little so as to protect the little guy (and with the Pet SS, its sometimes harder to keep aggro), but it has opened up a whole new world of solo opportunity for the old tank here.
So take your smack talk elsewhere, I'm keeping my wolf :)
if you want a pet go summoner and get a pet that can tank and actually hurts.
Umm a summon is a summon that only a summoner can use.
A pet you can trade to all your chars and beleave me a wolf hurts too and he dont needs to tank because my paladin or dwarf does.
if you want a pet go summoner and get a pet that can tank and actually hurts.
while a summons is always good at tanking and really give some nasty dmg a wolf can keep you company no matter were you are and you always make you stay alert for it not dying. summons on the other hand are not cared the same way cause you use them as tools and replace them with crystals.
Persons that have wolfs give you the understanding that were here to entertain ourself while soloing not to fight everyone that we came in contact.
Seems ur a person that know nothing.

wow buddy i have a wolf, he sux nuts dont tell me i dont know anything wolves r [censored], who are they gonna kill? no one, at least with a hatchling they turn into something at lvl 55 and become something actually useful wolves r horrible when it comes to magic attacks i can hit it with a lvl 5 wind strike and it will loose almost half of its HP, and y spend almost 5 mill on a wolf if it doesnt do anything for you, wat will it do create a distraction? i mean buddy come on i dont really care if your wolf is lvl 50 or lvl 80 its still gonna suck
btw, my wolf is lvl 48
If you compare a wolf to a mage or archer, then yes they do suck. However, if you aren't either of those classes then a wolf can be helpful. That is one less person you have to share spoils/drops with.

Hmm dont now why u lvl ur wolf to 48 when it sucks.
As for me i use one low lvl wolf ( lvl 15- 25 ) in catacombs with lvl 20 char to do manor. Big addition and fast killing.
I do use mid lvl wolf ( 25-30 ) for my low lvl spoiler he was in orc baracs very usefull and mobs dont spoil bad there and the adena is good too.
My highest wolf i use on my Paladin atm. He solos in Dragon Vally without using soulshots and i rarely have to rest.
On a side note if you do quests the exp the wolf sucks up is ur friend i farmed so many blood medusas from Timak orcs without wolf i would only have 50% of the coins.
Dont know so far wolf saved me a lot money plus i get more quest items.
Beside that most ppl i partyed with like the wolf because he make hunting faster and more easy at least im a Paladin that does damage not to mention when i switch on ss for booth. For me well worth the efford.
Maybe you lvl the wolf like a hatch or see him like a tank or good DD dont know. I use him as support to help me kill and for that reason he is great at least for my Tank and dwarfs.
As for the reason it dont grow up or changes to something.
Yes the wolf is already fully grown but he helps me.
Now take a hatch he needs expensive equip and later u only ride on him and till your not a nobless u wont use him in sieges either.
