Are they really trying? I doubt it.

I've been thinking, I'm in school so its more thinking about Lineage things then school.... but anyway...

I can walk around to ALL the major hunting spots in lineage II on kain server, and find a substantial amount of bot trains. (1 person watches a 9 man train)

Ncsoft claims that they stop bots, but really, think about it.

All it would take was 1 GM or ...maybe someone with half a brain... GM might not be enough.. (lol) to go to these popular hunting zones and find them.

BUT the problem also is that I RARELY even see GM's online, maybe 1... ive yet to see 2 on kain in months, but maybe thats just me, 6-8 hrs a day online.

IF they really wanted to ban them, it would take them a single day to ban 50-100 bot characters.

BUT THEY WON'T, why you ask? Isnt it against the EULA?

Think about how many realy players play these servers, a fair amount, but a HUGE portion of these accounts are bot accounts. They would be CRIPPLED if they actually tried to ban bots. The income losses would be dramatic.

Ive learned to live with the BAD support and bot-farming adena-againsttheeulabutGM'sdontcare- groups, but when I see a post that makes them seem like they are trying hard to kill the bots, I just laugh, its PATHETIC.

Yes, I know they did the mass ban awhile ago, but ive only seen it once, I know people that have bought adena, and I saw the price increase dramaticlly after the ban.

But that was once.

Only once.

Ive never seen another increase in 2 years, just that time.

Summary, they (may) want to ban the bots, but they WILL NOT suck up the MAJOR income loss on accounts.
