Greetings,
You know those fishing quests given by the fishermen NPC ?
I just did O'Fulle's special bait quest and found out something interesting.
Ok, so before you ask, yes Mugi you can add it to your excellent guide. So here it goes :
You start the quest at the fisherman NPC in Giran (O'Fulle). You will have to hunt fettered souls to retreive 100 lost bait ingredient. An interesting tip here is to abort the sweet fluid quest while you do this quest. Make sure to turn in all your sweet fluids before you abort the quest, or else you will lose them. This way you get a quest item for every soul you kill (so only 100 souls to kill).
Once you get the 100 lost bait ingredient, return to O'Fulle and he will give your 4 lures of Icy air. These lures attract treasure chests and your fishing skill should be lvl 12 for best results.
The funny part about this one is that I was fishing earlier and I happen to snag a few of those big treasure chests . (O'Fulle wrongly calls them large treasure Boxes... May want to check that out Xaen). So I kept one and saw if I could "cheat" this quest. Well low and behold, it worked... Wow, it's the chest bla bla lost... Yeah whatever I fished it a long time ago.
Once you turn in the chest, you will get a letter you need to take to mineral trader Kikki in Giran. She will end the quest and reward you with an elven ring (D grade).
You can always sell your Icy air lure, for an extra profit from this quest.
