Has anyone had a problem doing the Trial of the Pilgram quest? I have already completed most of it but ran into a problem when I went to TI. I talked to the priest who told me to go to the ruins and kill Nahir and return to him. I went into the ruins found the quest monster and killed him repeatadly. I looked at my quest log and all it says is to kill Nahir.
I checked some walkthroughs online and it says you are supposed to collect the hair from Nahir but what was odd is that in the quest log it only says to kill the quest monster.
In other sections of the quest I had to get certain items. For instance if I was told to collect a lava salamander egg and looked up the quest log it would look something like this:
0/1 Lava Salamander Egg
I submitted a ticket on it since I cant continue my change over quest but was curious if anyone else had a problem recently with this one. Any help would be appreciated.
I didnt had that problem, but pocibly because i did it during C3. And you know that you may need to kill may be ~5-7, or something of those.
Yeah, I had to kill him repeatedly before I got the hair...apparently it's a low drop rate. (He's a quest mob, but I sure didn't get the item on my first try...or even the fifth...might have got it on the tenth or so...been awhile now.)
The worst ive seen was a poor SE who had to kill Nahir 25 times before getting the quest item - sure took some time, as there was a waiting line for Nahir at that time.
Getting the hair can be a pain. I've done this on two characters and both times I had to kill repeatedly. This was in C3 so if it's bugged now I wouldn't know (until I go to do it soon)
I had to kill Nahir 4 times to get it. And I remember for the fire salamader quest I had to kill those at least 50 times. <3 SiriusNight for tanking for me all that time ... heh
Hey thanks for all the feedback. I did submit a ticket on this one and got a response when I logged in yesterday. The GM said that Nahir was stingy and to keep killing him. I did keep killing him, 24 times and finally got it.
ITs normal I had problems with that quest too. I killed nahir probably about 40 times before I got the quest items its really gay and I wish ncsoft would set it at 1 time 1 item.

Anyone that says things are "really gay" should have to kill them 40 times. Come out of the closet dude. You know you want to.
It goes faster using top C grade duals and SS. Dont even bother casting anything.
Well.. I bet it does.. but most folks don't have such a weapon when they have to go kill this red flapping piece of... errr... nevermind.
Oh, from the same priest, you can get another quest to kill a very similar looking mob in the library. Reward is (C3) an Enchant Armor D scroll. May as well get both quests and kill this red flapping.. mob... while you are waiting for Nahir to respawn.
