Mmmm, I've gone through and read alot of the kain forums and I must say there are alot of forum warriors here (hello btw) thats cool it makes for a good and enjoyable read. Anyways a friend introduced me to this game awhile back, I played just a little bit. Managed to get to lvl 24 as a Elvan Scout before I decided to cancel my account. Reasons why I canceled... At the time I was already into another online game called EVE and left little time for me to play L2. But now I decided to take a break from EVE and try and see if I can get back into L2.
I know I still have alot of catching up to do and alot more to read w/ all the new content. But I wanted to see if I was on track with what I want from this game. And that is PVP and when I first started it seemed that SR was the char for me. I like long range attacks and I like a char that can solo. Now is SR still the way to go? And also I noticed that alot of clans only recruit chars that are like 40+ any Clans out there willing to take in a lvl 24 and help guide me the right way? btw my char name is "envetro" and I'm US (seattle) player. thnx for your time :)
Silver Ranger is still a good class for solo and seiges.
Most clans want folks to be lvl 40 at least, but many will take folks in their 30's. Don't settle for the first clan that invites you; do some asking around to be sure the clan has the same attitude you do (PK vs. PvP vs. PvE, scamming allowed/or not, playing time expected, clan hunts/raids/seiges or not, use of only the official client) You need to join a clan you can enjoy being in. Take your time and pick well.
good advice, I guess I'll just keep grinding till I'm at least 30 before I try and Join a Clan. Is there any official forums that list all the clans on this server? and does it show which clans atm are the strongest/weakest?
SR is a great class! As a matter of fact, that is my choice for my sub-class. Very good PVP. I hate their stun shots soooo much that I want to be able to do it to others! Can't beat them join em!
Anyhow you can check out the clan list in game. You can go to community I believe and select clans. As far as strength and reputation, you'll have to ask around. But I can tell you, the stronger clans have a higher level minimum (well duh). So you'll have to start off in a small clan or solo (although that's no fun) ><
