Before the flames from legionaires begin, I have screens of your people PK ing many lower level toons in FG. I will be happy to post the results of your reds when I get to my home PC, if necessary.
I used to agree with that statement but the fact of the matter is that, how does it take someone over a year to get to 60's in c1-c2 and then all of a sudden in 8 months have 2 subs done? I mean think about it --thinking----ya true right you have to have a buff bot behind u or 2 box right? so then how do u get to have both in such short time. Bah this is really going anywhere productive - just enjoy the game and stop pointing fingers, have a clean fight 1vs1 or have a 5vs1. But you know its better when its 1vs1 right? more action, more drama, more excitement - not like what happened at dion.

How can u expect to have fun when its 30vs100. You can not have fun on those terms, now maybe 30vs40's would of been fun. When the number are more of less even then you can expect to have some fun.

Seriously..HotDogBun runs around Aden more times then a Chinese farmer lookin for raid bosses..lol. I see him everywhere I go...sorta scary if you ask me. Some people do play a good 10+ hours a day too. Its just because they have less responsibilites then any other person with a job, family, etc etc. I play about 3-4 on a given night. Paladin's TempleKnight went from 1-65 in like 2 weeks and blew me outta the water. You BOTTER!! *shakes fist* Just kidding. :D

Ahh, KoS lost Dion for whatever reason, tho anyone can plainly see that 90% of the server easily hates them. Legionairs ally, I personally have seen atleast 3 topics about them harboring botters, not that its true, I wouldnt know. But already having those allocations against you, you invite KoS? Nobody respected Legionaaires anyways. Besides, I enjoy the excitement KOS brings to the server. On the political level, they know they can't win. You mean like Dion siege last cycle? And...what others? Epoch in Aden, no sieges. Core in Innadril, no siege. Storm in Giran, no siege. So the one siege which was not very exciting was the Dion siege. Now I wouldn't go inviting KOS to ally, but they do stir the pot on the server these days. I'm not saying for good or bad. I like some members, especially one's Ive known for a long time (Tzob, Fred, Tido). Others I don't. I was shocked they took a castle with as few members as they have in the first place. It just goes to show that few clans even bother trying to take one these days, which, again, I don't understand. How do you think Legion even HAS Oren? lol Cause none of the strong alliances come to take it.

KOS runs around in small parties pvping. Sometimes in good healthy ways, sometimes in bad. Now if you tell me they're ganking your ally and you can't hunt anywhere, maybe there's room to complain.
But as Ivy posted, it's KOS, in Legionaaires. If I had to shoot fish in a barrel, I wouldn't complain when somebody tossed in more targets. I, frankly, don't know why Oblivion, Divine, Legend, etc. allow a weaker ally like Legion to hold a castle. Seriously, it makes no sense at all. So many non-castle-owning allies that don't siege obvious weak points. It confuses me immensely. Do people not like money?

And my "do something" was to if you want pvp action, go out and do it, dont complain about it being quiet when you could always, with or without your ally, go out and start fights with other alliances. And for atleast, one reason, no one takes Oren from Legionairs, well the castle is worthless and wouldnt pay for your soulshots to take it. Why do ya think BoD gave it away :). Sorrus is correct this castle does make money, It is very time consuming though too make the manor work for you.
NO castle is worthless just with Ivory tower being a port zone from hunters village it makes Oren a Pain in the *** to defend if attackers get wiped of the field if doesn't take them long to get back on again.
If Ivory tower was removed from porting from HV Oren would be one of the best spots in aden...

Luke has done alot to step up and take action, though he speaks with a patronizing tone don't underestimate his good intentions. He means well (most of the time)
As for never asking anyone for help at your sieges I do recall seeing AP and Post-Kos members at your siege against Avalon gaurd... so lets just cancel out that last post right there...
as for Sorrus, I completly agree just beause a City isn't populated doesn't mean a castle cant bring in money. A properly runned manor of ANY CASTLE can bring more money in a day than alot players can make in a month.
How? when you have a proper runned manor a hand full of players will take advantage and BUY out all your seeds and do the returns just so they can get the items they want without hassle by other players, or farmers.
but people who own poor manors and don't research thier competitive castles and don't take advantage of being able to modify the prices don't get that luxury of making alot fo money.
For example old Giran vs new Giran, Desert codran buy back was at 650 vs Aden's 1000 now if you are Seed farmer who are you going to sell to? Giran or Aden? now a days its 950 vs 1000 which those slightly lower allows players who don't want to fight to get their seeds in Aden a chance to still make a good profit.
Every castle can produce more than enough adena to support a single clan possible a small alliance depends. Some just run the manor with their clans in mind and try to make enough money before they have to pass it up to the other clans in their alliance and Others run their manor with their subjects (players who use their manor ) in mind One of those kings makes more money than the other can you guess which one?

Well so it seems KoS joined us (these boards are great for newsflashes :P)... looks like our leadership wants to get a nice castle siege at Oren ^^ (at last :P)
I'm not an official spokesman for Legionaires or Centurions, just writing down my personal opinion.
First of all, I wasnt aware that KOS joined us, until I read it hear. I havent talked about any of the leaders so I'm not going to give my opinion about that issue (I might do that later if I feel like posting)
Okey, like most people know Legionaires is a fairly new alliance. For a lot of people (including myself) the castle sieges and raids alone are worth grinding for. To be able to attend to these features, you basicly need levels and numbers. To get our numbers up there has been some heavy recruiting within legionaires ally. Offcourse you can discuss if its good thing to do it the way we did. A lot of the recruits turned into friends, but with this approach there are also some people that I dont like. But I think most of the "bad apples" will be filtered out eventually.
About Legionaires owning Oren castle:
I have to agree with the people who said this castle was given to us. Sure there was some PvP but it was definatly not a normal siege. I do believe we were the strongest force on the siegegrounds to get the ownership. After that siege I think there was one serious attempt to siege "our" castle, but after a good and imo pretty even fight we succesfully defended it. Hopefully there will be a new attempt soon.
About the manor system:
There have been some problems with setting it up. I'm not completely aware about the exact problems, but I think some RL issues were involved. However manor system should be up and running now.

After reading most of your posts about us, its obvious you arent a fan of our alliance. You actually had some good points, for example about the manor system not working. Like I said we arent flawless, maybe we'll never write Hindemith history as one of the great alliances. But I do like my clan/alliance there are a lot of good and fun people in it. If you dont like us plz discuss your problems with one of our alliance leaders or take some other ingame actions like getting us out of our "undeserved castle", you're in a big alliance so you can easily whipe a little bug like us (you actually allready said you would in a previous thread) All you seem to do here on the boards is trying to get other people motivated to get the job done for you.

Most of your members post with a wonderous attitude of some great accomplishment, which I, of course, ignore because what you think you've done matters little to me. May I note, that posts like these generally begin with somebody else, and I merely point out my observations. I am merely perplexed by the state of the server when there are megapowers out of castles and you (not a megapower) do have one.
You can be offended that I note this, but you know it as well as I do. It isn't a problem, merely a perspective and a question nobody answers. Frankly, as I noted, KOS took a castle. How the hell do events like this occur? I'm immensely confused atm by the state of the server. Previously aggressive beasts have lain dormant for extended periods of time. I know many in Epoch begging for an Aden siege. Well, why is it up to the people with castles already to do this? Multiple castles are dangerous. It's very hard to defend three simultaneous attacks. Why so many allies sit on their hands entertains me. Some try to siege once, KoA, and then quit trying. Is a few deaths at a siege upsetting? I don't get what people are doing. So many people post they play for the sieges and that's why they bought the game...then they don't do it. I ask why and you take offense or throw something back at me that totally misinterprets the question.
I am nowhere near the helm of Storm. I assure you, if I were, you would simply see a repeat of Reborn, because I believe in aggressively sieging every castle you can get ahold of. I merely observe and discuss on a...discussion board :O Who would've thought? So if you're upset I point out your flank is exposed, that's your problem, isn't it? You know you have housecleaning to do in your ally because you've grown too fast. Be happy most of us are giving you time for that, rather than posting a different fraps every night.

Luke. You and I have talked many times, and your knowledge of the siege grounds excedes most. Yes, we did have a siege against them once, and havent sieged again since. The reason behind that its two fold. One, the first siege drained a lot of adena that we had saved up, and we decided to take a cycle off due to rebuild our funds. Second, this past cycle, we took off due to some inactivity from the PTS and with C4 dropping. We certainly have plans to siege again. The last siege was a good experience for us, and we learned alot about our alliance since that was our first REAL attempt at a castle for ourselves. We made some wrong decisions, and we will learn from that. I am very certain you will see us on the grounds again soon...dont worry. We want a good working manor system that our alliance can utilize. We do have some members we want to outfit with better gear as well...and of course....I want to ride a wyvern :p
We did not make a one shot attempt..and just fall off. We will be around for a long time. We made a couple of bad decisions since then as well....but we have learned from those..and it will only make us stronger.

Mi theory about this is that the people who really can force things are mostly way over oren lvl and many times on aliances that doesn´t accepts -50.
They are not going to organize anything to fire legionaires out of Oren even if they are messing new players. It doesn´t affects them that all the zones under Oren influence (including Elven village and DE Village) have no manor, they are playing other zones.
What I mean Drekk, is that, as well worded and funny as your answer is... I think it's not applicable at all. Revolutions are made when many people is personally afected (it's, in fact, more a zerg than anything else).
Fact is, there aren´t enought affected people for them to try anything. And other people, even if they find disgusting what they are doing with Oren manor, are not personally affected themselves and so, will not make an effort to change it.

Only reasons to put someone out of the castle are usually that you are ****** at the owners or that you want the castle. A bunch of low-lvl players who can´t seed aren´t going to put Legionares out of Oren.

Ok, now I have a little bit of time to answer something better than "LOL, /rec drekk":
Even if I found the answer quite funny, the idea was not to make fun, was to raise again the oren & its manor system issue. So, taking in account what you say the people in discordance with legionaires way of handling a castle (if we can say that they are handling something at all...) should raise up and kick them out from the power. Then we'll have a zerg and somebody will post "it's a zerk!!", even if it's obvious that it's a zerg, this person will feel the need of informing us, the small and peaceful comunity of hinde, that it has been a zerg. Why? Because of freedom of speech? I don't know, really...
but, taking back the point of the manor, I'ld like to know the reasons why after such a long time the manor is stopped and I can't play the game the way it was designed[1], I agree with minako that as almost all the 50+ don't give a **** about oren, nobody is doing anything.
So, as myself alone as a -50 can't get the castle by myself, I just say it: I don't like the way legionaires are handling oren, the same way you may dislike a certain party in your contry and talk with your colleagues. It's just an opinion, take it like this, it may be that somebody thinks on the same way and after reading this message he/she will see that there is more people that thinks like him/her and then will post, and then another one and then another one... until we are enough to be able to do something else than posting here.
Until then, keep the ironical posts running, job is quite boring nowadays...

what will happen, if not this siege cycle or next is... (correct me if I am wrong) Based off of current hindemith gaming style, Legioniares dropped the bar of soup, it and leaked out all over Hindemithg forums, Now some clan leader of an alliance who doesn't normally have a chance at taking oren will lean back in his chair and say "I think its time for a siege"
then in the dead of the night via carrier pigeon he will private message as many friends and allies that he/she can think of and say "hey I am thinking sieging legionares you in?" and alot of other alliances will say "yea I don't like them i'll join in!!!" and saturday/sunday night when that little voice "The castle siege has begun" sounds off a... ZERG will appear and wash Oren away.
THAT is scenario 1......
Scenario 2 is ..... Large alliance A , doesn't like legioniares BUT he already has a castle and would seem greedy for him to siege in the hopes to take legionares so they will send their PR guy to pm their puppet alliance (normally a close alliance that they help every now and again) and say "Hey there <insert ally leader here> How would you like a castle? Oren seems like a good target I think you should siege you would have our FULL support"
now the puppet alliance leader who normally wouldn't be able to get a castle on his own would do backflips just to get this castle signs up with his guns firing and on saturday/sunday morning .... A ZERG appears.
This is just the way of things, this is how politics are played.... and probobly how things will unfold out
now before any legionares jump down my throat saying I am orchestrating something against them, This is acutally happens with any castle and extremly often, and any alliance but for it to happen to an alliance for example like Epoch.. they would have to do a PRETTY BIG screw up for the whispers to go.
So the reason i said these posts are pointless because the chips are in place.....
a) people are complaining no sieges are going on
b) a castle owner has not run a good manor
c) a forum war upsetting many clans and alliances broke out
these things are normally the sign of things to come.
Especially for the alliance who will never get their castle siege due to their well secured status this seems like an oppurtiny to for them to jump on that they won't get at their own castle.
Wich basically resumes in, nobody bigger than them wants the castle, but if they piss off enought people the castle will fall because they did bad politics.
All in all, I am of the same oppinion.
And yes, this posts are useless if all pieces are already in place. But if there is a reason why you think they must loose their castle and you want it to happen, it's never a bad idea to voice it, worse case scenario is that it will make 0 difference. But, hey, at least it's something more than just flaming for the sake of flaming. :eek:

Why has Oren stayed under poor control? 2fold.
1. Preoccupied. Most of the big guns (Legion would be a small gun) are busy looking at eachother. The attitude these days is less so worried about having castles as it is challenging eachother. Many don't even care what they're attacking, just WHO. For these reasons, Oren is filled with small fish nobody cares about. (Dont take offense, you're new, you can't build an enemy list like an older clan)
2. KoA did siege it, and the members of KOS came and wiped the attackers from behind. KoA being rather new doesnt sound like it has the coffers to siege continually. Understand, to clans like Core, Divine, Tsunami, Titans, Aurora, sieging constantly costs them nothing. Individual players happily buy the flags because, well, with age comes funds.
The fact that we run by a botter, dislike a manor, or simply dislike a clan member doesn't turn the head of a beast from its prey.
kos never helped us with a siege. last time i saw them they were killing us :/
anyway i dont really know why you keep aiming your negative remarks on a not so new alliance that has a lot to learn, but even so we have proven to be more of a force then some might think.
and no im not saying we can compete with those allys that are hanging around since open beta. but just neglecting the possibility that legion might have more power then everyone things, only shows how wrong a person can be

I was not at the dion siege. I am not a spokeman for Epoch. I believe we where not signed up to attack the castle. I was at work so I don't know how many attended. I am guessing they wanted some PVP against KOS.
My problem with the dion siege is not the numbers that showed up to take the castle away from "botter clan" , but who ended up with the castle. If legend had ownership it wouldn't look like a charity siege.

This is interesting. Legend turns down 1v1 against strong alliances that they outnumber, but get "brave" enough to pick on an alliance in chaos?

KOS likes to be the bad guys, but really, they aren't a threat, only an annoyance, and honestly, they make the game interesting, there's been a few times where i'm bored, and we get called to go kick some KOS ***, and we do. It's fun :P More power to ya KOS. They are doing exactly what they want to be doing, and that's stirring the pot. And even by joining legionairs, they've stirred the pot. I think legionairs are going to be having an interesting few weeks :P

Your point is quite simmilar to one I did before, the big alliances that can go and siege the castle and throw them away for sure are unaffected by their doings and are more interested in looking into other stuff.
I didn´t take into account that factor because not only I'm a newbie, I'm a low-profile player that avoids politics on purpose. I don´t know who is looking at who or who has some old grudge against someone. I like looking at drama and politics, but I don´t poke to get extra info. I don´t know what's really going on among the big guys. Your correction has been processed and recorded for future reference.

Are you calling Round Table Camelot Coalition like they are the same? In my oppinion that's a very wrong idea, differences between them are very obvious at the momment.
