It would be real nice to see Helmets in the game, it would be great since L2 has such nice graphics and makers have great artist who make the game models. Helms could add a little more puch to the already great graphics and models in the game. ;)
Circlets could be forged into the helmets like some warrior kings did with their crowns. I'd like to have helmets visible, even if they're not fully covering the head/face. Especially for heavy using classes it would be really cool looking when they're really covered from head to toe in those huge plates. Add in an emotion where you can lift/lower the visor of yer helmet too ;)
About all the fancy ears and party masks... I say they're more like city attires, like the formal wear so helmets wouldnt ruin them completely, also if there was an option of "Show my helmet/hide my helmet" you could use the ears without any problems but others could still have their helmets on. Adds more diversity to a game where you can customize only a few things :(
Hehe, liked my cat ears? ;) Personally, going for majestic heavy and bunny ears for some shocking looks, but I still would want to see helmets shown :)
Definalty want to see helmets, my glad would look awsome with a blue wolf helmet on, fully geared out like a true warrior. Helmets can be added and still have the style of game intact. Im fed up of the clone effects. Also it would stop me looking at some peoples horrible choice of hair style and colour, some people have no taste >.>

why does every one need to have whats in every other game, if you got every thing that WoW, EQ,D&D, FF11,guild wars... so on, how will L2 servive as it's own game.
I want L2 to stay it's own game, I'm opposed to this idea, every time it's brought up every 2 months.
And it's "noblesse tiara"! untradeable, dropable, sellable.
In case it matters to you (I doubt it does), my wanting to see helmets in game is not based on any other game out there. I enjoy the look of armor and weapons in L2 and a well designed helmet would (imho) only add to the beauty of the game.
For people who would prefer to see faces, I see no problem with an option allowing that just as you can toggle ground detail on and off.
But hey, if there are still so many people who wish to deny everyone else an visual option that is suggested that may be able to toggle off, who am I to argue?
Psssst... Reality check: Asian developed and designed game; no self respectable anime hero would EVER wear a helmet unless he's the hero's sidekick. Cutesy over badassness. GW has this option and it's butt fugly. Kills the mood.
Anime Heroes have more P.Def when NOT wearing a helmet; time proven again and again. We are all anime style heroes, get over it. :cool:
Umm, not exactly true, look at Berzerk for example, lots of helmets in that anime. Historical setting animes also have usually helmets if they suit the settings. And dont forget the helmets on every space mecha series. The pilots got helmets there too ;)
I dont see a problem if u have an OPTION to TURN IT OFF, people comon dont be so selfish in the other hand if we would have helms already and some one wanted the option to SHOW/HIDE helm would u disagree to that too or would u /sign Hmmm figures some people just dont care for others taste even if they can go to OPTIONS/TURN OFF HELMS (CHECK MARKED) my 2 cents people im not planing to make a riot now ;)
Simple solution, buy a warrior's helmet for 20 mil
Srsly, the GM's went over this many times before. The company is aware how odd it is for helmets not to show, but they put accessories in for this reason. The game itself is old. Don't expect upgrades akin to Guild Wars.
