Ok so all is well with L2. No Problems! Then this Evil downtime today and now when I log on, everything is super enlarged. Like when it goes to the log on screen all I can see if giant word: Username and giant word: Password.
So I try logging on and its still sure large I cant see any windows and if I do use the Alt + what ever all I see if like the corner of the newly opened window.
I reinstalled all my drivers and still get the same thing.
You need to get your screen to shrink so you can see the game controls. Before launching L2, put your cursor in an empty part of your destop and right click, select 'properties,' then 'settings.' Near the right bottom you will see 'screen area' and a sliding control. Move it to the right (to the 'More'.)
Click 'Apply.' It will resize your desktop, and ask if you wish to keep these settings. Click 'yes.'
You now have a screen where you can see everything L2 puts there, hopefully allowing you to get to the L2 screen controls. (I'm at work and can't remember the steps to set the screen controls in the game.)
Same issue, nice suggestion, doesn't work. The terms of agreement is supersized and gets in the way of getting to the controls. Have to find some way to get the the close button on the terms of agreement so that the game controls can be accessed.
Pressing Alt and Enter together put's lineage2 into windowed mode, you can then go to options and put the resolution you had back in as you will find it is blank. I had this problem recently after a crash and that solved it for me. :)
I got the same dam error. I'äm a newb to L2, finally got it up and running and KABOOM! after like 2mins it shuts down and i get error messages, the resolution goes nuts (can be fixed though) but i cant do anything further.

I had to go in and change a file C:\Program Files\Lineage II\system\option (GamePlayViewportX=320) to (GamePlayViewportX=1024) and (GamePlayViewportY=240) to (GamePlayViewportY=768). this will do it for you.

I had to go in and change a file C:\Program Files\Lineage II\system\option (GamePlayViewportX=320) to (GamePlayViewportX=1024) and (GamePlayViewportY=240) to (GamePlayViewportY=768). this will do it for you.
