it still wont work..it says file not found...i have the crest saved in my pictures file as 256 color bitmap and it is 16x12 .....
My pictures is a wrong folder for C:\ path.
Generally My Pictures folder resides in C:\Documents and Settings\Owner
or similar path. It's not exactly the same as C:\
1. Open My Computer and move to My Pictures folder.
2. Select your bmp file and select it for copy operation. (make right-click on it, chose Copy option in context menu).
3. Move explorer view to C: folder (there are many ways):
a) move to Explorer address bar (input line), clear the line (select the whole text and press Del), type C:\ in the line, press Go button.
b) C: in explorer navigation pop-up (it opens when you press down button in address bar)
c) Open new explorer window with My Computer shortcut double-click and then double-click on C: "folder"
4. Paste selected file here in root C: drive folder (right-click on empty place and choce Paste option from context menu. If it's not active, you probably lost selection somewhere in the way)
Alternatively drag and drop the file from My Pictures folder to C: folder.
Alternatively open file in Paint, chose File-Save as... option and type C:\emblem in file name line (don't forget to select 256 bmp as file type).
After that you'll have emblem.bmp file in proper place for input.
File in My Pictures probably has full-qualified name C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Pictures\emblem.bmp
You can try it, but I doubt that LA2 will inteact spaces in folder names correctly. You better copy the file to C:\ folder - it's sure way ;)
there is 2 problems with this...
1. i dont exactly understand what you are saying in its entirty
2. i have the crest pic in my C:\ file already...but its still doesnt show when i input the code...
