I'd just like to say "hello" to everyone on this server. I actually played from Prelude to C1 and just yesterday I decided to go out and buy it again to check out C4. Granted, I've got a lot of catching up to do before I can really enjoy anything, but I'm sure it won't be too much of a grind. ^^;; I played on Erica before and this is my first time on this server, so I'd just like to start off on a positive note by greeting everyone. The game seems so different from what I remember and I really like the new feel of it. Leveling seems much easier than it did in Open Beta and gathering adena doesn't seem to be too difficult. I've been having some trouble understanding some of the newer concepts of the game in full detail, among these being:
- Seven Signs (Dawn/Dusk)
- Manor System (This one especially...)
So if anyone could explain these things in more detail or provide me with links containing in-depth information, it'd be really helpful. ^^;; For the Manor System, I've pretty much figured out the seeding and harvesting part, but I'm a little lost on turning in crops for rewards and how to find out how much rewards you get for certain crops. Things of that nature... If anyone could explain it to me, it'd be greatly appreciated. That along with how to read the various windows in the Manor System information. I've heard that this is one of the top (if not the top) PvP servers in North America and I do hope to take part in the action soon. Once again, great to meet you all and see you in-game. ^^

For 7-signs, currently the server is dawn-oriented. Not too long ago we were dusk for a while, so keep track of how many and who are doing the festivals in the competition. You have to be lvl 20+ to get involved in 7 signs.
What you get are dungeon hunting grounds that are all very similar to one another, but scaled for levels. While hunting you can get blank scrolls via a quest and seal stones which are exchangable for a psuedo-currency, ancient adena.
When you came back, did you renew an existing account or did you start up brand new?

Thanks. I've started up a brand new account along with my girlfriend. I'm making a Shillien Knight and she's working on a Prophet. ^^
The 7 signs thing is really easy to figure out once you hit 20 you can talk to either the priest of dawn or the priestess of dusk (dawn wins most) and they can actually tell you about it as far as the new manor windows I'm still working em out fully considering they changd em from C3 format when C4 came along last week anyway gl and pm me ingame if u need help im under the same name as here :D
Hey if your into the catacombs Try visiting the Vault has many great tips maps or web page (http://www.midnightexpressclan.com) i have many usefull links already brought to one neat easy to use web and maps are there as well.
And welcome back and to Sieghardt. need some advice send me (craftyred3) or Rdstealth2 Pm or reply here I'am the clan leader of MidNightExpress and i'll see what i can do.
Be careful of trains in the catacombs. Eyes open, be attentive to others' chats and note if there are any known griefers around. If there are, you would be best adviced to try other grind locations. Everyone I know has been subject to them and some with personal loss of items.

Hi I recently just returned about 2 weeks to L2. I also played during prelude/c1 and quit for wow. You are right the game has changed drastically since then. TI back in the day used to be packed with players trying to level and lvl 4 pkers running through the lands picking off people. If someone was over lvl 40 they were considered a god. All these top grade weapons such as elven long sword and samurai longsword no one even had on the server. XP seemed to be a lot lower. I remember running to the orc barracks and finding a group to join easily. Now most of the world is dead and a wasteland from what it used to be. The game is still very fun, different, however I am still happy with my decision to return to L2 and continue playing my Dark Avenger :)

Yea lowbie areas are dead. but once you get 40+ or even 52+ you will find the world packed again! I mean I can hardly walk through giran cause of all the shops >.>
