MP Recharging Pets

I might be wrong here, but I have heard that the new pets are pretty much just there to give you little heals, and when they lvl up they give you a bit bigger heal. I still want to get one of these. One day :)

Anyways, was thinking it would be nice to have pets that would give little MP recharges, much like the ones give HP boosts now. Maybe only 5-10 MP at a time when they are young, and boosted to a bit higher when they are older. Sure there are summons now that can regen MP, but there are many classes that could use a bit more MP. Melee classes I have heard benefit from the new pets, with less downtime due to HP loss. My dagger usually runs out of MP before HP when out soloing, due to my constant use of specials. Would love a little MP boost every so often. Also my Artisan would have her own little battery charging her up while making shots. I can see a problem though with the amount of pets you would start to see in towns. Hopefully there would be alot of cleaners hired to clean the streets of well....
i second that, any of my mages would be more then happy to get that :)

Cheers!!
They can never make pets too good or it will cut into the healer/recharger classes.

If they do make such a pet, I vote it's a bird that can actually fly.
With only ONE head. :p
The pets do heal for tiny amounts now, and I am pretty sure the healers aren't to worried. If they acted as AAA batteries for MP hense 5-10 MP per cast am sure recharger classes would have as little to worry about as the healers do now.

It would however give the people who don't know a recharger, or who don't want to take all the time away from a recharger to act as their battery, another option. Although it would only help slightly.
If the healing they do is any kind of indication of how much mp you would gane from them then it wouldn't be beneficial. You would still have to set and regen mp. at 20 or 30mp per recharge the baby pet would run out of mp itself real quick. Would be waisting adena feeding them.
Generally, if it only recharge a very small amount, it wouldn't be beneficial enough to help people enough. If it recharged too much, than the pet would get abused. There is no grey area in the middle-- you are either recharged too little or too much.

Additionally, the rule about level vs. recharge would have to be changed if these pets were implemented. People of certain levels (I'm not sure if its too high or too low, or both) can't recharge others if they are too far apart.

Also, it would make crafting too easy for Warsmiths (but mostly farmer Warsmiths) to craft. They would buy a wimpy level 25 pet and never level it, only use it to improve downtime when their mana is low.

Similar with other classes-- lessens downtime, which makes it unfair to other classes who's special advantages are a lack of downtime. Also, it would passively nerf those who's summons already recharge mana anyway, because you can't have a summon and a pet, or a summon and a summon, or a pet and a pet out at the same time.
Ya I have access to a summon that regharges mp but it takes 30% xp and im greedy when it comes to xp.
Not to mention that at your level, it can't recharge you anymore.

If they recharge like the current pets heal, sure.

If they recharge like a boxer or kat? No. Just no.
