Shortly after 12pm PST a joint venture between Mirage & Invincible successfully completed the first antharas raid. The raid took roughly 50 minutes. We received AWESOME drops and leveled 9 SA crystals to lvl 13. Overall all aspects of the raid went smoothly. Thanks to everyone who made the raid a success.
very nicely done by mocosa, drops were nice for the first, exp i heard was even better but i have been clarified why that happened, dont think people will see that again. gj to all work owns me.
is it true you cant debuff him anymore (slow, entangle, cripple) ?
what different strategies did it take?
At the moment debuffs work as in C3. We understand that will be patched soon. No change in strat.
If they change Antharas to where he can't be debuffed, you simply need either more firepower or more time. Nerfing the debuffs will substantially add to the antharas raid time.

gratz to invincible and mirage. silfei promised us another ninja bishop but never seen one. Also guarding the dvc entrance was a good move, i give you that but next time, put some real pvper, not aurorae... unless they decided to go on their own.

Aurorae makes their own decisions.
But my guess as to why there were alot of them there in comparison to chaos is pretty simple
chaos= NA
Inv= mix
Mirage= Euro
Aurorae= euro
So since most of us in chaos have these things called jobs we are unable to log on in the middle of the day to stop you from beating up a dragon :(

Lol kahelia you talk like it was a nice even fight at the entrance we started rolling you guys equal numbers then all of a sudden 70 people come up from behind our 2 1/2 groups and whiped us haha. That has nothing to do with them being able to pvp its with you guys being un-able to pvp with out 2x the numbers.

Nice drops. And 2 million XP? Wow. That should stay, heheh.
It's nice to see that they're trying to A) make Antharas harder and B) give him better stuff to drop. Now if they'd just make him smarter and less predictable as well...
