UI Improvement: Pet action bar

An add additional action bar used for controlling your pet/servitor would be a nice addition. It would be a little smaller and have different key shortcuts, i.e. SHIFT+Fx.

I simply cannot hold all the skills, pots, SS and pet actions on the main bar.

Speak to your pet, click on Actions and you got a small pet action bar...
Though pushing Shift + F1 would also enable you to push Alt+F2 and F1 again ;)

Though I think a smaller action bar without special key-bindings would be nice, either be it for pets or pots or whatever...

Anyways, I see nothing that would make a stand against your suggestion.

u mean like in WoW? ...

except that shift +Fkey is already in game. it's called a fixed command. It performs the action but won't let you run into range, great for targeting at sieges.

I make macros on my 'pet bar' to integrate my skills into the hatchling's attack. (Of course I have a twillight, so there aren't many choices of attacks for the hatch.)

Keys that are taken and can not be tied to any of the hotkeys:

Tab - (opens Inventory - you don't want it tabbing open every time your pet does something)
Shift - Fixed Attack
Ctrl - Forced Attack
Alt - Hotbar Switch

There is a bar like that in WoW but also in many other games. Jeez, stop about this "was in WoW" thing, alot of WoW cool features were taken from older, more or less popular games.

I know I can make macros but then I loose alot of control, sometimes the pet would take too much aggro and die ( you could use delays but it's efficiency falls ).

I can switch bars with Alt+Fx but it is still not fast enough in critical situations. For me the usage of direct hotkeys is a must for efficient fight and that means I'll have to hold pet skills on main bar.

I know I can hold the pet window open all the time, but still no hotkeys - you have to click.

Second action bar ( not necessarily for pet use ) would be very helpful, but even if NCSoft would just add hotkeys for pet actions and skills I would be satisfied.

As for the SHIFT+Fx, it WAS an example, it can be CTRL+1..9 (like in WoW ;) ) or ALT+1..9 or whatever.

1-9 already taken too, either for chat or regular hotbars.

I won't guess again, the point of this topic isn't about finding the hotkeys (they can be rearranged can they ?) but to contemplate if we need them.

I'd gladly like to not loose my pet twice than post on bad channel twice.
