I was trying to select a realm and i read below about the non-pvp server , what is the name of this serv.
I think this is for later on.. I don't belive they have added a Non-pvp server. Altho alot of ppl would say Bartz. But all servers have lots pvp and have the same drop rates.

Sorry Dark Chicken (great name by the way) the alternate rules servers are in Korea. They just were not able to remove that little message when they put C4 on the live servers.
ya its been a bug since c4 went live. they dont exist. plus i couldnt imagine l2 without pvp, no sieges?

no no... there is pvp... it only takes place during sieges, clan wars, arena, maybe dueling.

People will then say that you can still train. Which means that unless they remove training from these non-pvp servers it doesn't make sense.

But there are many threads on this so I won't go on.
ahh ok, wel either way we dont have them. It does say server 28 and since we are at like 9 or 10 i dont think we have the player base to have a non pvp server
with "server Full" messages showing up yet again...

The demand for a non-pvp server is quite high...

And training would be considered a PVP.. and not be tolerated.... Banstick will be used...

Actually, they can just remove the ability to train a mob on another player. I know of one game that the mobs become fixated on one player/group and will then return back to where they came from if the player/group dies or runs out of range.

As far as the server full, Mistryl posted that this is not a correct assessment and they will be changing the designation soon.

so, instead of it saying "full" it could have something like, oh.. I don't know, perhaps a percentage full or "heavy play" etc.

We shall see.
The servers are actually full, ive tried and had the server full message access denied several times. A new server is needed but i dont want to reroll onto a carebear no pvp server, perhaps two new servers, a new euro one, because teon is so heavily populated because 1 euro server cannot house all the europeans playing L2. And also chuck in the no-pvp server just to see what happens...

Hey.. not my words... Mistryl is the one who said that the servers aren't "full".

However... maybe they really are and they do need to rethink the creation of a new server.

Would you really reroll though?

Short of adding an "alternate rules" server (I don't recognize the word carebear as it is meant as an insult and I'm all for freedom of choice and freedom of individualty.. but that's just me) is there any reason to really leave behind all that you have worked for?

Because it is possible that any new "regular" server will eventually get full as well. then you would just find yourself in the same situation as you were before.
Well i would definatly reroll, just because i love the initial race and thrill of the creation of a new social environment. To be young and a noob again on TI would just be amazing, the good old days relived.
I have no ties on bartz and i wouldnt think twice about leaving my gladiator high and dry to go start a-new. I would be able to get more involved as i have better experiance and its always more fun the second time around.
And yeh i guess i shouldnt have called it a carebear server, as some people like the idea of it, but its not for me anyhow.

No worries.. didn't meant to be get on a high horse about it. I just believe that people should be able to play how they want. Having said that I also believe that this is a pvp game and that people should know what they are getting into before they play.

It is what it is.

I also agree to a certain extent... there is something about starting over, brand spanking new. However.. now that I'm in my 70's, pushing toward 75 so that I can subclass, the idea of getting to this point again makes me a bit naseous!
Yeah, i wouldnt even consider it at all if i was at such a high level, but so far in lineage ive been server wondering in an attempt to fit in and find it hard to stick in one place for too long at a time. I would go play teon as it is the newer of the servers and i would imagine full of my kinsmen, but there are too many connection issues which are getting irritating.
i prefer to not have any pvp while trying to do a quest or whatnot.... i agree that pvp when agreeing to it is perfectly fine....

Seiges and arena and combat zones are anyones game though.....

IF new servers come up... and one of them is a non-pvp.... i'm on that one asap.

The rules against such things as training is a "form" of getting around/exploiting a pvp solution. Either report the guy or apply another AI addition to all mobs that if:

A person/group or anyone that first attacks a mob in any way, be it agroing via hate or some spell or a simple wack, then dragging them beyond there initial start area, they become solely agroed onto that one person, and will ignore all outside forces be it another group doing damage to a fellow species or ones it may be social with until it returns to it's starting point, OR is attacked by another group, all mobs within that group that were agroed are then transfered IF they are still in pursuit of the one guy... if they stop.. and are in a room and slowly making there way back to the initial starting point, any social or agroing mobs will not be reinitialized until they fully return, all agroed group will drop it's ties even if one of the group is hit by a party...

Problem solved: Only the party can make the mistake now, if someone trains, the trainer either dies/leaves/ or loses the agro... and if some poor character/member by them selves or within a party hits a mob while it's in pursuit.... it's there fault or there problem...
