Are there monsters with the same name but different levels in game.
I have gone to some websites and i see duplicate listings of monsters. At first i thought this was just some bad db work.
But i have come across probably no less then 6 sites possibly more in my searching for info that do exactly the same thing.
Also some of the sites have Hp and possible drop listings and they indeed are slightly different then the duplicate.
So me being a noob to the game was wondering are there monsters that have the same name but different levels in game.
There are, although they aren't too common, and they are usually just 1 level apart.
One of the first ones I noticed was the Mandragoras-- their weakest mob, which looks like a dirty radish with eyebrows, has two identical kinds that only differ in level. When you get to a specific level, one kind will appear a different color at your targeting screen than the other. When I saw the difference, one of the radishes was light blue to me, while the other one was green.
Ok i can understand that though very confuseing when one comes across such a situation.
By the way are there monsters in game that are different in nature lets say hp or something else but have the same name and same level?
I see that also on some of the web sites.
That was is very confuseing to me why would you have a monster with same name and same level.
I know most of these are fan sites and may be duplicate entries by the db admin but again very odd to have more then one site like that out there.
There are several intances of same exact mobs at different lvl or with different drops. Take the shackle for example they are in the entrance to Dragon Valley and the pit under Ivory tower but they drop different stuff.
There's also the Fallen Orc shamans, of which some transform into big tigers and some dont. Same for Anger of Splendor in the Valley of Saints. Some transfer to a white/golden DA panther and some dont.
